Ratings - Meukas Snot Trail
Rating: | Price/power (0/5): About the price of an anagram sword, yet it's less powerful than Ylanas Blaster. Tactical (0/5): It's almost completely killed by the Leaf Shield. On top of that, it's easily outdamaged by mid-level weapons. Bonus (1/1): Because I can't give this a 0. Closing remarks: Get a 13-iconer, Dr. Sloths Personal Bath Buddy, or one of the anagram swords. Rated on April 30, 2015 |
Rating: | Meukas Snot Trail is a retired Hidden Tower weapon that has been given new life with the advent of League 97. Prior to its retirement, Meukas Snot Trail stocked in the Hidden Tower for a hefty 6,500,000NP. Now that it is retired, it can be found for several million Neopoints more on the player market. Regardless of its original price or its current price, Meukas Snot Trail has never really been worthwhile for general use. 12 icons is simply not enough to justify the price tag, considering that the Hidden Tower stocks much stronger weapons like Skarls Hasty Mace and Kelpbeards Trident in the same price range. Scroll of Knowledge deals an icon less than Meukas Snot Trail and can be found on the Shop Wizard, while the Water-heavy Dr. Sloths Personal Bath Buddy deals two icons more than Meukas Snot Trail for a mere 2,000,000NP. Meukas Snot Trail may hold no value for general use, but it is a distinguished weapon in the L97 metagame. Meukas Snot Trail is the only weapon available to players that deals 12 constant icons, which happens to be the icon limit in League 97. All other common offensive weapons in L97 deal 10 or 11 icons, meaning Meukas Snot Trail is a step above the pack. Meukas Snot Trail can also assist users in a Cursed Elixir sneak-attack, as it extends the KO range slightly past otherwise normal limits. Having a Meukas Snot Trail equipped allows the user to come out slightly ahead in shootouts, but this weapon runs into trouble against defense. Because the Icicle ability is so popular in L97, Hobans Hat and Faerie Tabard are extremely prevalent, so prevalent that one will... ▼ Read More ▼ |
Rating: Rating History ▼ | Price/Power (3/5) Less expensive but still weak retired item which has lowered in price thanks to the new retired item capsule. While it does have niche League 97 uses, I find it still lacking for normal people. For normal people however the idea of 12 icons, even purely in two icon types is just not enough. Countermeasures (1/5) The downsides of this weapon only get amplified when you look at what blocks it. The Hubrid Nox Memorial Shield, Leaf Shield and Dr. Sloths Personal Body Armour all take huge chunks out of this weapon- and are rather commonly used. Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades If you have enough money to buy one of these, chances are you have enough for a Sword of Thare. Other Points Final Thoughts Don't forget to clean up the puddles. Rating: | Overview:Besides being gross, Meukas Snot Trail is currently the strongest offensive weapon allowed in L97. Of course as with any good weapon, there are some caveats to its use. The Good: L97 rules make the MST the strongest attack-only weapon for the league. The Bad: There are a few issues with the Meukas Snot Trail that prevent it from being a top-rated weapon, and I'll put them in nice list.
The Ugly Truth: There's no doubt that going in swinging with the strongest weapon in the L97 tournament rules would be nice, but Meukas Snot Trail needs backup. If you are buying one of these for your L97 pet, you probably have the neopoints to swap to a weapon that beats common earth/water defensive weapons. If you are only considering... ▼ Read More ▼ |
