Ratings - Dr. Sloths Personal Body Armour
Rating: | Overview: It's like a cheaper downgraded Hubrid Nox Memorial Shield, but with air defense traded for dark defense. The Good: It's not banned in L97 Tournaments, and it's the cheapest of the Hidden Tower shields, stocking at a cool 6.6 million np. It's still on par, in terms of icons, with other Hidden Tower shields, save for the infamous HNMS. When defending against its main opponent, the Sword of Thigl, it will do just as well as HNMS, but it's weaker compared to other Hidden Tower swords with the same icon quantities. The Bad: If you're going to be buying a Hidden Tower shield that's not a HNMS, you're probably better off buying a Faerie Tabard as the icon types blocked are much more useful. The Ugly Truth: In 1-player battles, the Hubrid Nox Memorial Shield is much more capable for only 1.6 million more. In L97 or 2-player battles where the HNMS is banned, the Faerie Tabard is much more useful. The shield is definitely a good deal in terms of icons/np, but it's much more situational than the other Hidden Tower shields. Rated on September 27, 2013 |
Rating: | Price/Power (3/5) Pretty good as with most of these hidden tower level 100% blockers. If you have a lab rat you may consider picking up a cheaper alternative but it is still pretty great. Countermeasures (4/5) This can cut down a fair amount of damage off the Fungus Ray, Scroll of Knowledge and completely destroy a Sword of Thigl. Offers a good deal of bulk defense coupled with a nice icon type to 100%. Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades You could go for the slightly more expensive Hubrid Nox Memorial Shield, or if you are a lab rat battler just go for the cheap as anything Parasol of Unfortunate Demise instead. Other Points (No Bonus) Final Thoughts Not too bad really. Rated on May 27, 2013 |
