Price/Power (2/5)
Scuzzy's Comb is a classic item from the days of old- unfortunately while its ten icons of damage is not as bad as it could be, it still leaves a lot to be desired.

Countermeasures (0/5)
It uses both Light and Physical- two easily and very cheaply blocked icon types

Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades
Many items- Scroll of Knowledge for example. But really, it seems like TJST wants to release items freely which have more power than this so chances are there are other options which will come out momentarily.

Other Points (1 Bonus)
I wouldn't have wanted this to be more powerful back when it was released. It is a memory of past fights, if it had been higher icon inflation would have only been worse now.

Final Thoughts
For someone who apparently cares about his hair- he doesn't care much about his comb.

Also this description is basically me_irl... I mean..

Price/power (1/5): Overpriced, but the mass iconage counts for something.

Tactical (3/5): Due to it having more than 3 of each icon, your opponent will have trouble blocking it, especially at this level. The problem is that they can potentially outdamage this with a common 11-iconer, such as the Scroll of Knowledge. You'll be outclassed if they opt for a 13-iconer, of course. Also watch out for the Parasol of Unfortunate Demise.

Bonus (1/1): This weapon is actually historically significant--back when it was first released, it was highly sought after.

Closing remarks: The Pike Pike is also good for mass iconage, though it only deals 9 icons in total damage. Otherwise, check out Ramtors Spellbook.

At a Glance (1/3):
Become one with your inner stylist and viciously comb your opponent's hair, dealing 5 icons of light and physical damage! Yes, even the bald ones are no match for this comb!

In-Depth (2/4):
Weapons like this comb that deal a good amount of two elements generally accomplish two results: each element is too weak for reflecting weapons to take advantage of (75% of 5 icons is weak sauce; you'd be better off with another weapon entirely), and each element stacks wonderfully with other matching weapons. For instance, Sun and Moon Chakram and Wraith Scroll alongside this creates 3 elements to focus on in order to flexibly get through the opponent's defenses. However, it is checked by a variety of dual duty weapons, such as Ultimate Negg Hammer, Deadly Pugio, Spyder Stone Necklace, Ancient Gnarled Wand, and Thief Dagger, while it is flat out countered by Jhudoras Cursed Sword and Bleached Bone Staff.

Price (0/2):
This is where things get even more hairy. This is an unbuyable item, meaning it's easily worth over 100k, which is not economical as a 10 iconer when there are others that you can grab instead. The aforementioned chakram, for example, is worth ~10k while the wraith scroll is almost half of the chakram.

Bonus (1/1):
Using this item on me will deal bonus damage equivalent to this x1337, then further multiplied by each lock of hair I have. It's quite brutal, really.

Final Score: 4/10

Scuzzys Comb is a classic 10-icon Neoquest 2 prize. At the time of this review it has a going price of about 150k-200k, a long fall from when it was a prime choice for intermediate battlers. For the sake of comparison, 9-icon weapons like Ridiculously Heavy Battle Hammer and Throwing Cutlass can be found for under 1,000NP, and the 11-icon Scroll of Knowledge can be obtained off the Shop Wizard as well. So why does Scuzzys Comb cost much more than these weapons? I find it a little hard to understand, but the only real justification of its price would be greater quantities of icon types dealt compared to the previously mentioned items.

5 Light icons and 5 Physical icons are solid amounts of each for low-level battling, but both of these icon types are easily blocked. Dual Duty weapons like Ancient Gnarled Wand, Jhudoras Cursed Sword, Rusty Pitchfork and Spyder Stone Necklace all come out ahead against Scuzzys Comb. Shields like Patched Magic Hat and Studded Leather Cuirass also block a significant amount of Scuzzys Comb's attack.

Alternative and better choices of Light-heavy weaponry include Staff of Righteous Fury, Hanso Charisma Charm, Energy Blaster, and fellow NQ2 item Ramtors Spellbook.

In summary, Scuzzys Comb's icons are too easy to block and it is also overpriced. Unless it becomes buyable on the Shop Wizard, I would not personally recommend Scuzzys Comb.
