Price/Power (2/5)
I would never recommend a 7 icon weapon these days.

Countermeasures (2/5)
While the icon mix is better than it could be, especially with the light blocking, it wouldn't do as much as some of the modern damage dealers or dual duties released in the past few years.

Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades
The Stocking Full of Coal has the light defense and a few more icons, but honestly you may be better just getting a Barbat Throwing Star- or just doing some events and waiting until they release one of the inevitable super powerful multi-use items that end up going up in value into the hundreds of thousands despite being overly saturated

Other Points

Final Thoughts
It is a shame there isn't a damage over time mechanic or nerfing mechanic in the battledome; i'd love to see this literally curse your opponent in some way. Temp lower strength or hp or something cool like that,

Price/power (3/5): This basically has the offensive power of the Amulet of Inevitable Betrayal and the defensive power of the Sword of the Dead, for around 160k. Despite the fact that that this defends against light, it's still a little too pricey, especially since the Ultimate Negg Hammer is cheap.

Tactical (4/5): The offensive icons are not particularly difficult to block (though the combination is hard to fully block), and Golden Compass comes out ahead when faced with this, but few weapons at this level deal more than 3 light icons, let alone 5. That means this sword has a defensive advantage when faced with most light-dealing weapons at this level.

Bonus (0/1): The price of this weapon has been unstable ever since it was released. Up until recently, it could fetch anything from 150k to 400k.

Closing remarks: Slightly lesser alternatives include the Amulet of Inevitable Betrayal, the Sword of the Dead, and the Ultimate Negg Hammer. The Ancient Gnarled Wand is not a viable option at the time of writing.
