Price/Power (2/5)
A pretty high price, but you know I am not a big fan of dual duties. Considering this item doesn't offer a useful defense or even a full 6 icons of attack.. eh.

Countermeasures (2/5)
Many items can fully block this attack, few popular items are blocked by this. The Energy Blaster and Hanso Charisma Charm are some of the more common items to be blocked, but the Hanso Charisma Charm can also block half the attack back.

Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades
Personally I would just combine a Parasol of Unfortunate Demise with a Scroll of Knowledge or other popular attacking weapon. This is a downgrade to the Jhudoras Cursed Sword.

Other Points (No Bonus)

Final Thoughts
As opposed to the "Sword of the (Still) Alive" which has a strange obsession with testing

Price/power (3/5): Not exactly cheap for its power, but it's the only thing that'll give you 5 defensive icons until Jhudoras Cursed Sword. Cheaper alternatives such as the Amulet of Inevitable Betrayal and the Ultimate Negg Hammer have 3 icons of defense.

Tactical (3/5): Light defense is useful, but few weapons attack with this much light. In most cases you'll be just short of breaking even (remember that the air icons are fractional here). Don't forget that the Parasol of Unfortunate Demise is your best option when faced with mass light. Still, in the right situations this sword can be very useful.

Bonus (1/1): Nice combination of attacking icons--it really does seem ghostly.

Closing remarks: You should probably get one of the other options when it comes to light defense--for now, at least. I personally favor attack when there's a trade-off between attack and defense, since if you fail to predict what your opponent's up to, you'll lose out if you try to defend...
