Rating: | Price/Power (0/5) The price, age and rarity makes this item unobtainable in every way. Countermeasures (4/5) A full block of an icon commonly used by some of the rarest and most powerful items on Neopets.. in theory this item should be decent. Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades There are not too many reliable methods of defending THIS much earth- the best option is likely Pirate Captains Hat- but you can also get yourself a Shield of Pion Troect. Other Points (1 deduction) Scarabs are too old to be ever seriously bought to use in combat. So I can hardly give it a high score. Final Thoughts If these were even slightly more plentiful perhaps they would be worth aiming for... but somehow I think it would still be overshadowed by the other options available. Rating: | Value 1/3: Far too expensive now for what it does. The only way it could be worse is if it was this expensive and did nothing useful in the dome at all. Tactical 3/6: A potentially useful defensive option against mass earth, especially pea, Grapes of Wrath, Sword of Thare, and the Ghostkerbomb. However, you'll still end up behind against those weapons unless your opponent doubles up with two mass air weapons in one turn. And even then you have to predict when your opponent is using those items to get the most value out of this. Therefore despite this weapons excellent function, in all but the most ideal situations using it probably put you behind. Other 1/1: An ancient and classic plot prize that actually does something useful. Recently better dual duties like Ring of the Lost and Hanso Charisma Charm have outshone this weapon in usefulness and price. Now this weapon is more of a gallery item, but it's one of the better ones out there. Regular battlers without piles of millions of neopoints to burn should look to the Shield of Pion Troect instead.
