The bulk light would have once been good, before the days when weapons started to use a huge variety in icon types anyway... now days it has been outclassed by the increased variety and made obsolete by the Parasol of Unfortunate Demise.

Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades
Just get the much cheaper Leaf Shield or Kiko Skull Pirate Hat if you want a decent shield. While if light is what you are looking to block get yourself a Parasol of Unfortunate Demise instead.

"Oh good," thought the brave adventurer upon reading the tag on this shield. She had been looking for a new shield to take with her on the long journey to find the tomb of the golden pharaoh's tomb. She had read fantastical stories of a tomb filled with gold treasures and power beyond her wildest imagination. This shield was going to help her on her quest, she had the map and the compass which was said to open the tomb- the shield was the last piece of the puzzle.

The adventurer set out and followed the map to the entrance of the tomb. She was weary and tired, but she had made it. As the sun rained down upon the glittering pyramid of gold she knew that she had finally done it. Once and for all she had found the treasure which would put her on the map, perhaps she would even get in her own plot thanks to this discovery- maybe her own daily. Price/power (0/5): Not enough defense to justify a price so high.

Tactical (2/5): This aspires to be something like a Leaf Shield with different icons, but it's much less useful. Light defense is ideally covered with a different shield or dual duty, and there's no reason to have physical defense that varies so wildly. Besides, that's something best handled with the Altadorian Swordbreaker. Get a Studded Leather Cuirass or Virtupets X-514 Super Shield instead.

Bonus (1/1): At least the icons are fairly unique.

Closing remarks:: Get yourself a Studded Leather Cuirass, Shiny Shoal Shell Shield, Virtupets X-514 Super Shield, Leaf Shield, or Sophies Magic Hat instead.
