Rating: | This weapon will only be rated for Regular 1P/2P use, since it doesn't have any niche or league use. Price(0/3): While the price isn't outrageous, it's still too much for what this item does. If the price was lower this might be more useful, but as it is it'd be a waste to buy it. Power(0/5): The amount of icons this shield defends against is way too low, wasting a slot in today's battledome when you could attack more instead. Uniqueness(0/2): Most shields tend to defend icons in such low amounts that it's not worth it to use them over any weapon. This isn't the exception. Overall it's just your average underpowered, useless item. Nothing worth checking out here. Because of that its final rating is 0/10. Rating: | Price/Power (0/5) If it was a cheaper item maybe it would be worth using- but at R99? No. Countermeasures (1/5) Only three icon types, but at least it has a very decent amount of dark icons. Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades Kiko Skull Pirate Hat if you want an item blatantly better then this, or Hanso Charisma Charm if you just want to block dark. Rating: | The defense offered by this shield is not bad, but the fact that it is R99 puts this shield's price tag far beyond reason. Hanso Charisma Charm offers full dark protection in addition to ten offensive icons. Obelisk War prize Galems Cloak offers a similar defensive distribution, but like Altadorian Crest Buckler, its price is a bit too high. Amulet of Altador offers both Water and Dark defense in the form of a dual duty. If this weapon ends up as a daily prize or becomes cheap in another way, it may one day be a more viable option. Rating: | Price/power (0/5): Insanely expensive for what it does. Tactical (1/5): While it may sometimes be useful to block this particular combination of icons, and even though dark is fairly common, there are simply much better weapons out there. You can probably get a Hanso Charisma Charm for this price. Bonus (0/1): How is this buckler "effective" again? Closing remarks: Get a Hanso Charisma Charm, Sophies Magic Hat, or Leaf Shield instead.
