The reflection and defense happen at the same time. Example: You're being attacked with 10  and use this item. 2 will be reflected, 6 will be blocked, and 2 will hit you unblocked (the same applies for Light affected by this item).

Rating: | Recommended for: Intermediate Battlers Price at Time of Rating: 500m-1m; in flux and will update once settled This shield was given out via the 2019 Festival of Neggs and had mostly flown under the radar, but there has been renewed interest in it recently due to plot speculation. Strengths: This shuts down 80% of your opponent’s light and earth icons, with 20% of it being reflection! So you’ll be escaping the brunt of their attack while dishing a bit of it back at them. Weaknesses: The actual reflection amount of 20% is a tad low, but still a nice bonus in the big picture. Alternatives: Pirate Captains Hat fully blocks both earth and light icons, and some fire icons, but has the weakness of being semi-fragile (a chance of breaking for the remainder of the battle). Craftsmans Lens offers 50% reflection of both earth and light icons, so better for offense but weaker in total defense. Significantly more expensive reflector alternatives include Kings Lens, Ultra Dual Shovel, and Superior Reflection Shield. 100% light blockers include Parasol of Unfortunate Demise, Jhudoras Bewitched Ring, Hubrid Nox Memorial Shield, and Dr. Sloths Personal Body Armour. 100% earth blockers include Illusens Silver Shield and Shield of Pion Troect. Rating: | Price/Power (5/5) For the price this is kinda- insane. The closest rival to this item is either 100k or 4.7 million. This one is basically free at the current price tag. Given the sheer number of these shields released during the Festival of Neggs it is hard to imagine a time when these will ever become expensive. Countermeasures (4/5) While the actual defense is not enough to fully block anything- the amount it does block is high enough when considering that both light and earth (while not frequently used together) may in fact be a rather common icon type to see in combat. The only reason I won't give this a full 5/5 is because it does have that full 100%. If it did? Well, then this item would likely just be entirely broken for its price tag. Alternatives, Upgrades or Downgrades A Craftsmans Lens will offer more in the way of damage output- but it will cost more and defend less. This item is very close to a Pirate Captains Hat but with a slight decrease in defense and a total removal of its semi-fragile nature. Other Points I think people would kill me if I gave this item my normal negg boost score. Final Thoughts This item is kinda crazy- on its own it stands out as a nice to have item which somehow manages to NOT be as crazy as some of the attacking items that TNT has released recently- but if it is the start of a new dual icon multiuse high percentage defense meta TNT is starting... that could be worrying.
