Rating: | Recommended for: Intermediate Battlers Price at Time of Rating: 345k This weapon was a prize from Daily Dare in 2017. Strengths: A total of 18 effective icons (13 attack + 5 defense) is pretty decent for an intermediate weapon, especially if you know that you're going up against an opponent with heavy fire attacks. Weaknesses: Since it's dual duty, it's not quite as useful in today's BD compared to weapons that are attack-only with a few more icons. The 5 defense icons only help if your opponent specifically attacks with that, otherwise this is only as powerful as beginner-tier weapons like Poisonous Mushroom Tea. Alternatives: For similar dual-duty weapons, there's Cobrall Utility Blade and Dacardian Swords of Valor. The gold standard for dual-duties under 1m though is still Roxtons Trusty Bowie Knife for its percentage defense. Rated on June 24, 2024 |

Rating: | Price/Power (5/5) 13 base icons AND blocks 5 of the hardest to block icon? Yeah, I think the rating here is evident. Countermeasures (4/5) Water is a very common icon type, it has basically been the staple of value for money items ever since the Kelpbeards Trident started the trend and items like the Dr. Sloths Personal Bath Buddy continued it. Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades The main upgrades here are hidden tower, you could go for a Sword of Tawre to retain water icons if you want, but really at that point losing the water icon crutch would be wise. Try getting a Sword of Reif or Sword of Ari instead. If you want to deal with fire, a Clawed Shield or Frozen Cyodrake Shield are the best options.
