The anagram swords are the staple of value for money and this one is no different. Only beaten by a few other items.

Countermeasures (2/5)
However where this sword falls down is in the fact it is so predictable. Not this sword itself, but due to the Dr. Sloths Personal Bath Buddy and Kelpbeards Trident, many users will be ready to block against water.

Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades
The aforementioned water attackers both offer more value for money, or you could get one of the harder to block anagram swords.

In-Depth (3/4):
There are only two weapons that you will need to lookout in order to punish this: Faerie Tabard, and U-bend of Great Justice (Mega U-bend is also a contender). This makes SoTawre a 4th place contender as the safest anagram weapon, as it is basically open season should your opponent be without F-tab. The reason why it's the 4th safest and not 3rd, or even 2nd, is the fact that F-tab has an incredible presence in hidden tower level battling. If you had to choose a shield to go for, most would go for F-tab (although Hubrid Nox Memorial Shield makes it more of a difficult choice) due to how well it handles most situations and combos with other defensive weapons. Thus, to truly draw out its power (like any other anagram weapon), you'll need to pair this with the other anagram weapons, tactically switching between up to 4 in order to overwhelm your opponent's defenses (any more would be a bit of a waste of resources).

Price (1/2):
It costs less than ~10m to obtain, but an alternative/downgrade for this weapon, Kelpbeards Trident (yeah, I consider this a downgrade more/less), costs only ~8.5m, making the sword a less economical choice.

Another downgrade is the recently released Dr. Sloths Personal Bath Buddy, costing at ~1.8m or less.

Bonus (1/1):
I do believe this is the strongest water attacker. In my opinion, this is THE best water weapon to own.

So if you have one, proudly represent the minority and pound away at anyone who says otherwise!

1P 5/10: One of the new anagram swords averaging 18 icons, there is no reason to choose SoTware as a 1P weapon over Kelpbeards Trident, which has essentially the same damage output. However, it's still very much a viable KBT alternative if you like it for whatever reason.
2P 7/10: It would serve a complementary role like Kelpbeards Trident in a HT level set. On average it will do 2 more water icons and 2 less physical icons than KBT, making it better against shields other than Faerie Tabard, and worse against water reflectors. Immunity to Bent Fork is another benefit of this water weapon.
