While this weapon may be great for certain 2P leagues, it is unfortunately outclassed by other cheap weapons for 1P, since 1P opponents have less than 30 intelligence and so you’ll only get a measly 8 icons out of this. Price/power (5/5): At the time of writing, this can be obtained for as little as 300 NP. If your opponent has enough intelligence, this would be the cheapest 14-iconer in Neopian history, by a long shot.

Tactical (5/5): Mass fire is extremely hard to block, especially at lower levels. Light isn't particularly easy to block either. Against the right opponent, this rivals Dr. Sloths Personal Bath Buddy, which is itself considered a very good deal.

Bonus (0/1): Icon inflation has hit a new level of insanity.

Closing remarks: If you do a lot of 2P battling, the next step up would be one of the anagram swords.

Overview: What do you get when you combine a Portable Kiln with some bonus light damage? The ultimate 2-player weapon.

The Good: The day I saw this come out I honestly couldn't believe it. Mostly because my poortable Kiln was rendered obsolete in the 2-player dome, where before it had been king for being untouchable by major shields. 14 icons with 10 as fire is just too good for the price. The flask is a must-have for any serious 2-player battler who doesn't already have a Sword of Reif.

The Bad: The flask simply isn't quite strong enough to be viable in 1-player, since the <20np Scroll of Ultranova is stronger against the computer opponents. This means you'll either have a weapon equipped that you seldom use, or you'll need to swap weapons out when switching between 1 and 2-player battling.

The Ugly Truth: If you don't have a Flask of Liquid Fire, but plan on participating in 2-player battles, just get one already. If you're going to be mostly enjoying 1-player dome, skip the flask and pick up some cheap scrolls.

Up to 14 icons when facing a 2 player opponent is pretty substantial when you consider most of the damage is in fire. Very cheap considering the max damage and pretty epic icon spread.

Countermeasures (4/5)
However it only is worth using against 2P opponents since 1P ones have less then 30 INT. Until this changes this is purely a 2P weapon. Wanderers Cloak, Scarab Ring and Flaming Oven Gloves all take their own hunks out of this, but it is hard to fully block due to being fire.

Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades
Realistically unless you are using this for 2P using another bulk weapon with 8+ icons such as a Scroll of Knowledge may be of more use.

Flask of Liquid Fire is a weapon that can be purchased on the Shop Wizard capable of hitting for 14 icons, which is simply remarkable. This of course comes with the limitation of only functioning as a 14-iconer against opponents with an Intelligence of 25 or higher. Note that this item does not involve the user's intelligence at all.

Since all 1-Player opponents currently have an Intelligence of 0, this weapon will only deal 8 icons against opponents here. This is not really worthwhile considering stronger options such as Ridiculously Heavy Battle Hammer, Scroll of Ultranova, and Scroll of Knowledge are all also available on the Shop Wizard. Clearly this weapon is meant for 2-Player use.

When using this weapon, it is always a good idea to check your opponents Intelligence before entering the battle. Even if their Intelligence is low, causing Flask of Liquid Fire to only hit for its 8 icon attack, it may still be worthwhile depending on what the rest of your set is composed of. A 6 Fire, 2 Light attack is respectable at entry-level battling, but this weapon will really shine against opponents with 25+ Intelligence. The full strength 10 Fire, 4 Light icon attack is remarkably powerful. Fire icons are difficult to block at any level, but are exceptionally difficult to stop at lower level battling.

Weapons with this amount of power without Intelligence limitation cost millions. Flask of Liquid Fire provides a very cheap way for less wealthy battlers to be competitive, provided their opponents Intelligence is high enough for the flask to be effective.
