4.5 icons attack, 4 defense? Really? I don't like dual-duties that much and you all know it, but in a world where 1np can get you a Scroll of Ultranova 9.8 icon attacker and an extra 100 can get you a full light blocking Parasol of Unfortunate Demise how can I honestly recommend an item like this?

Countermeasures (0/5)
Too weak these days to really even worry about, can be destroyed by a cheap Lair Beast Tooth Shield. Takes down parts of the scarab ring and Oversized Maractite Rune Sword but really nothing much else. Considering the number of people moving over to more powerful bulk weapon dealers such as the Scroll of Ultranova I can't see this item ever getting much use.

Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades

I have to.

Final Thoughts
Another long rendered useless item. Given the increase in cheap weapons there is little reason to sacrifice so much attack for such a puny defense. One game of Kass Basher would get you enough for a whole set better then this item.

Value 2/3: Still dirt cheap, but value is a measure of cost vs performance and many other weapons are equally cheap and perform nearly as well

Tactical 4/6: This gets props because it still wins head-to-head against both reigning "champion" dual duties in low-level battling: the Scarab Ring and Oversized Maractite Rune Sword. Dealing 4.5 icons against the Oversized Maractite Rune Sword and reducing it to 3 icons, and dealing 3 against the Scarab Ring while reducing it to 2 icons, this weapon still goes head-to-head with common favorites and wins. That makes it a solid meta-game choice for 2p battling, as many players will have equipped at least one of these two popular weapons.

May be combined with Parchment Cloak for decent icon coverage if you want to slow down the pace of a battle. This could be vitally if you want to make sure you get the most out of a heal.

However, at maximum effectiveness it does 8.5 icons, which doesn't keep up with even the likes of other cheap offensive items such as the Ridiculously Heavy Battle Hammer or Scroll of Ultranova. The Scroll of Knowledge outshines this in many ways with offense that is just plain stronger.

Other 1/1: Yet another classic weapon that has seen better days. This is likely to be overlooked but still has legitimate usefulness, and it does have nostalgic value for many.

Conclusion: I was going to give this a 6 and I just couldn't, because I don't want to drive people away from it. This weapon is cheap enough that I think low-level battlers should have one in their weapons cabinet.
