Ratings - Leaded Elemental Vial
Rating: Rating History ▼ | Price/Power (5/5) This is currently the cheapest non-species full healing item on neopets. It has the power to do some pretty amazing healing with a great reliability. The only reason I had marked this as a 4 rather then a 5 is since there is now the ability "Rejuvenate" which lets a user fully heal for a lot less cost. The main thing with this is to make sure you have enough HP to make it worth it. Now with the plot giving them out en-mass, this is actually cheaper than it likely costs to train all the way up to being strong enough to use rejuvenate, so, yeah. Countermeasures (5/5) It is hard to counter an item which fully heals- so with that in mind I shall give it this grade. Realistically this has the power to fully heal you at will, only blocked by the occasional abilities. Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades There are many. Downgrades wise you have the Bag of Healing Dust. Other healers you may consider are the multi healing Illusens Staff or Sword of Lameness.. But both require much higher HP to be effective. Other Points (No Bonus) Final Thoughts If the contents of this vial needs to be kept in a vial, why are we letting our pets drink it? Rated on August 30, 2013. Updated July 9, 2024 |
Rating: | Power: 5/5 The cheapest 100% healer that isn't single-use, even though it is pretty expensive, that's price:power at it's best. Counters: 3/3 You don't counter healing, so nothing to take away here. Uniqueness: 0/1 Exactly the same as Jade Scorchstone, nothing special here. Bonus: 1/1 For the extra thrill whenever you have this in your inventory and might actually use it, this totally deserves an adrenaline bonus. Rated on August 9, 2013. Updated July 9, 2024 |
Rating: | Leaded Elemental Vial is the cheapest full-healer that does not permanently disappear after using it. Despite a steep price tag of 40-45 million NP at the time of this rating, I cannot emphasize enough how much of an advantage you can gain over an opponent when you possess a superior healer. A full healer such as Leaded Elemental Vial is a solid option for any pet with over 150HP, and is the absolute best choice for any pet between 200 and 1000HP. (Pets under 200HP may still want to consider Crisp Blue Tunic, and pets with over 1000HP may prefer the multiple-use Sword of Lameness for some battles.) The ability to fully regain your HP at any point in a battle is fully worth the price. This item costs what it does for a reason. Although this weapon is far out of the reach of many players, there are several alternatives. Jade Elixir will provide a one-time only full heal for about 8,000NP, but should be used sparingly as consuming an 8,000NP one-use item every battle can add up quick. Kacheek Life Potion is also a much cheaper alternative, and it does not disappear after the battle, but it only offers a full heal if you still have at least 1/3 of your HP remaining, and your pet must also be a Kacheek. My recommendation is that if you are happy with the other components of your set, and you battle or plan to battle with a mid-to-large sized pet, start saving up for one of these. You will not regret it. **SIDE NOTE** Beware that this item has an option of "Use on (Neopet)" in addition to equipping it. Be careful not to use this item on your Neopet, or it will disappear forever! Rated on November 22, 2012. Updated July 9, 2024 |
