Ratings - Faerie Fog
Rating: | At a Glance (0/3): This fog disables Jhudoras Crystal Ball's and Everlasting Crystal Apple's ability to see your set. However, you need to use it when they use the crystal weapons... In-Depth (0/4): Even though this weapon was created as a counter to another, it's still pretty limited, largely because you NEED to use it every turn in order to guarantee that your opponent never sees your set via the crystal weapons. This IMMEDIATELY turns into a crutch that your opponent can easily kick away, and proceed to laughing in your face. The simple threat of those weapons will cause you to want to use this indefinitely, which is terrible because your potential damage output/defense will be cut in half. Even worse, you will both eventually learn each other's sets during a battle anyways, with or without a crystal weapon. Your opponent most likely won't even carry the crystal weapons at all! Price (0/2): Way too pricey for 3.5m at the Hidden Tower, when all it'll do is end up being too debilitating to use. Bonus (1/1): Now, during the Y14 Festival of Neggs, Ancient Negg Amulet was made to allow even untrained pets take on the Neggbreaker, who was a pretty fearsome boss, by simultaneously increasing the pet's strength boost to max, and reducing all damage received by the boss to 0. The thing about it was that it did that JUST BY BEING IN YOUR SET. You didn't need to select it in battle in order for its effect to take place (this is no longer the case now that the event is over). What does that have to do with this useless mist? TNT has demonstrated that they can create weapons that have a "passive effect" of ... ▼ Read More ▼ |
Rating: | Price/Power (0/5) While in theory this unique ability sounds like it could have some level of niche use this item would be very hard to use effectively. Unlike the Bent Fork which can disable a weapon, this fog has to be used every turn to work... So if someone was using a Jhudoras Crystal Ball or Everlasting Crystal Apple you would have to keep using it every turn, which would lower your damage output dramatically. Countermeasures (0/5) Someone could keep forcing you to use this over and over, and if they are using a Jhudoras Crystal Ball you wouldn't even know they were able to use it. Moreover, using Lens Flare for just one turn would allow someone to get past this at will! Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades Just battle. There is little you can do to stop them seeing your set if they really want to see it. Other Points (1 Bonus) Have to Final Thoughts If this was a one use disabler maybe it would be good... but as it stands this is just a pointless item. Rated on May 27, 2013 |
Rating: | This weapon will not help you win. Even if your opponent used ECA, he/she still healed while you didn't, and he/she can use it again next turn Rated on January 21, 2013 |
