Rating: | Price/Power (0/5) R99 means a huge price tag, but even if it didn't I wouldnt suggest buying this trash item Countermeasures (0/5) Air is good, earth less good.. this little icons? Nothing good. Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades The Ridiculously Heavy Battle Hammer or Throwing Cutlass beat this hands down and both do not require any species to use. Other Points Final Thoughts I suppose this item may be worth something if you have a bruce gallery- besides that there is little purpose in it's being. Rated on August 12, 2014 |

Rating: | Ah, the legendary Fish Bone Bruce Sword. I remember when this sword guided my young Bruces to many victories. Okay. Maybe it is not legendary, and maybe it is incredibly outdated, but I did want to dedicate my first weapon review to the defining weapon of my newbie battling career. :P Now on to the serious stuff. Although 6 Icons was the standard for beginner-level weaponry when I started battling, (And I don't mean Scarab Ring, I mean pure, no-defense-added 6 Iconers.) 6 Icon weaponry is hardly practical anymore. These days new battlers are lucky enough to have access to a plethora of stronger options. The most logical alternative to this weapon would be the Ridiculously Heavy Battle Hammer. The Ridiculously Heavy Battle Hammer offers the same 3 Air and 3 Earth Icons, as well as 3 Physical Icons. It offers all of this for less than 1,000NP. Because Ridiculously Heavy Battle Hammer has similar icons, stronger power, and a cheaper price tag, and is usable by all species, there is really no place in the Battledome for my beloved Fish Bone Bruce Sword. If you are a Bruce battler and are looking at this weapon, just do yourself a favor and get the hammer instead. :P Rated on November 22, 2012 |
