Ratings - Aisha Myriad
Rating: | This weapon will only be rated for Regular 1P/2P use, since it doesn't have any niche or league use. Price (0/3): Retired hidden tower, yeah.... Most people won't be able to affort this. Power (1/5): This is great to test new hidden tower weapons, but for battle it wouldn't be that good since it only allows current items to be summoned, so don't expect to get something like Ghostkersword, though at least that also means items like Eraser of the Dark Faerie won't appear either, so that's good. The bad thing is... At least a big chunk of the weapons on the hidden tower are useless, and you can't control which you'll get. Uniqueness (1/2): Hubrids Odial Sphere is the superior version, however, there's no other hidden tower weapon generator. Smugglers Treasure Chest is the smuggler's cove version of the this, without price restriction or current restriction. Overall If you're not seeking this as a gallery item or for testing, I don't recommend it. It's too expensive, you won't get a great item half of the time, and overall you could probably buy all the good BD items with the neopoints this would cost. Because of that its final rating is 2/10. Rating: | Price/power (0/5): Immensely expensive, more so than any Hidden Tower weapon. Tactical (2/5): There are plenty of useful weapons in the Hidden Tower. Assuming that you'll always get a useful weapon (which you won't), you'd still have to spend a turn generating it. Since your selection is limited to current HT weapons, you might as well buy them directly. Bonus (1/1): This is a classic. Closing remarks: Due to the fact that it's retired, this isn't worth the NP these days. You're better off getting a weapon from the Hidden Tower directly. Rated on March 27, 2016 |
Rating: | Price/Power (1/5) Depending on the current power level of the Hidden Tower items this could help you a lot, or a tiny bit... Either way this is a really fun gadget to try out hidden tower weapons in combat. Shame it is so expensive! Countermeasures (1/5) If you get a good item with the Aisha Myriad there is little that someone can do to defend against it... That being said the chance of someone getting something good is so low that you shouldn't need to worry that much. Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades This is very similar to the Smugglers Treasure Chest and the Hubrids Odial Sphere which are both similarly fun items to play with. I would put the Smugglers Chest as a alternative and the sphere as an upgrade if I was to be ranking them. Other Points (2 Bonus) One for being a retired hidden tower item, one for being AWESOME FUN. Either way not worth using in combat, but I do love it when TNT tries to make things interesting. Final Thoughts Hypothetically, imagine having your whole set full of these... That would be epic. Rating: | If I rated weapons based on their awesome-factor, this weapon would score a 10. Unfortunately for Aisha Myriad, I rate weapons based on how useful they are in serious battles. First of all, the price of Aisha Myriad far exceeds the price of any current Hidden Tower weapon. This means that Aisha Myriad owners could probably afford to simply equip the Hidden Tower weapon they find most useful, instead of taking a gamble with the Myriad. Second of all, as a generator, Aisha Myriad is essentially a waste of half a turn, as it takes the spot of another weapon that could attack, defend, heal, etc in place of it on that turn. Given that many battles don't last long, taking time to generate a weapon is incredibly costly. This weapon could be a lot of fun, but is way too slow and random to ever be considered in a serious battle. Rated on December 20, 2012 |
