Ratings - Triple Turbo Dryer
Rating: | Recommended for: Elite Battlers The main thing with all the 75% reflectors is that they are very pricey, and are best used by a very tanky pet (to survive the 25% that isn't reflected) against a very strong 1P opponent (to use their strength boost against them) that has a high chance of attacking with a specific element. If you are seriously considering getting one of these, it is assumed that you have a well-trained pet and a lot of NP to spare. So when it comes to rating these weapons, it really depends on if they have any viable and more affordable alternatives! Alternatives: For reflecting air, this is really your best option, with no multi-use upgrades or downgrades! For blocking air, you actually have some great and affordable alternatives. These include the 75% blocker Extra Loud Techo Fanatic Megaphone and the 100% blocker Shield of Faerieland, both of which come with some extra attack or defense icons respectively. And while it's not multi-use, Feel Better Soup deserves a shoutout for being one of the best healers that comes with a bonus 100% air block for one turn. Rated on May 28, 2024 |
Rating: | Price/Power (3/5) This is the most powerful air reflector on the market. Unfortunately it has the price tag to match. Countermeasures (3/5) Realistically the only other practical air defender is the Shield of Faerieland. 75% could be huge if you are going up against a couple of Sword of Aris, but otherwise there is nothing else here. Air and fire are the hardest icons to reliably block, so keep that in mind. Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades If you want to reflect a hard to block icon type, you may also look into the Clawed Shield which is currently cheaper then this despite being 'retired'. Obviously the other option is the aforementioned Shield of Faerieland, so there is that too. Other Points Final Thoughts Air is hard to block, but is this really worth the investment to you?
