Ratings - Jhudoras Crystal Ball
Rating:

Price/power (5/5): While the Everlasting Crystal Apple also allows you to check your opponent's set, the crystal ball's stealthy, so you get the element of surprise.

Tactical (3/5): It's certainly useful to be able to check your opponent's set, but doing so takes up a slot. Not necessarily useful enough unless you're trying to run reflectors or anything else that benefit greatly from being able to predict your opponent's moves.

Bonus (1/1): Unique effects are great, so kudos to TNT for not retiring this.

Closing remarks: If you wish, you may combine this with the Everlasting Apple in the Cooking Pot and get a small multiheal, but it will no longer be stealthy.

Price/Power (1/5)
This is a very niche hidden tower weapon with very little value to 99% of people. It is costly and most people will only buy one of these with the intention of turning it into a Everlasting Crystal Apple. That being said- It is a fairly underrated weapon for what it can do.

Countermeasures (4/5)
The Everlasting Crystal Apple does do the same thing as this item- however doing so makes it show up in the battle log. This item allows players to stealthily check the other user's set since it does not show up in combat log. While it does still show up directly below the pet that is easy to miss in comparison. This allows users to check the set without risking alerting the other person to change their set, though it was much better in the old battledome.

Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades
Nothing. In fact I would consider the Everlasting Crystal Apple to be a downgrade.

Other Points
Nothing like a niche overlooked weapon.

Final Thoughts
Sorry mate- I had to review this eventually.

At a Glance (1/3):
Allows you to see your opponent's set. Might work in 1p also (like Everlasting Crystal Apple), but we already know what every 1p challenger has, so it's irrelevant.

In-Depth (1/4):
Being able to know what your opponent has is essential in order to succeed in a fight. You need to know what you're up against in order to counter and punish your opponent's actions. However, you will always start off blind as there is no way of knowing what your opponent has unless you fight them, or they/someone tells you.

This crystal ball eases this need as you will be able to know your opponent's set for the battle and formulate a plan against it. Unfortunately, thats where the usefulness ends, and having 1 less item slot doesn't really justify using this.

ECA has this same function, only with the capability to heal you 30hp per turn (which makes a phenomenal difference). Faerie Fog disables this ability to see your opponent's set.

Price (0/2):
Only ~900k less than ECA, which makes this weapon too pricey for what it does, which is only one thing in one turn (still a good ability, just... yeah).

Bonus (1/1):
There aren't any other weapons besides ECA and this that has this ability, and that counts for something in my book.

Final Score: 3/10
