Ratings - Amulet of the Sun
Rating: | Price/Power (0/5) A horribly weak dual duty which has been long useless. Countermeasures (0/5) Light is easy and common to block, while increased variety in icons used means that it is easy to avoid this tiny defense. Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades Just get at least a Amulet of Altador or Scarab Ring Other Points Final Thoughts There is nothing respectful about using this in battle, perhaps wearing it... Rating: | Inferior. Obsolete. That sums up this weapon. Why? Fellow Altadorian weapon Amulet of Altador provides the same defense, the same Light attack, as well as three more icons of offense. Oh, and it is priced about the same. Rated on May 30, 2013 |
Rating: | Price/power (1/5): This is very overpriced for what it does. What's more, the Amulet of Altador does the exact same thing plus 3 air icons. Tactical (3/5): Defense isn't too bad, though the combination is uncommon and may be a problem against common weapons. The main problem however, is with the attack. 3 icons isn't enough. I'd give this an even lower score, but at least light is hard enough to block (unless you have a Parasol of Unfortunate Demise). Bonus (0/1): An overpriced dual duty that blocks 6 icons and attacks with 3 isn't exactly worthy of respect. Closing remarks: Get yourself something cheaper, like a Scarab Ring or something. Or upgrade to an Amulet of Altador (which isn't that fairly priced itself). Rated on January 31, 2013 |
