Ratings - Slorg Flakes
Rating: | Price/Power (0/5) There is no battle reason to turn an opponent's petpet into a slorg. None. This item is now a troll item and little more- maybe once upon a time it may have had some other devious use but no more. Countermeasures (0/5) When the pet is changed- it can be removed to return it to it's normal state. Sure there are other implications which have already been mentioned but it also removes the one positive use of this weapon I can think of. Technically this item may have been able to be used in a way similar to Kacheek Flour in that you could have used it to transmute a less expensive petpet you own into a slorg to resell. That is about the only thing of value this weapon could have done besides trolling and even that is gone. Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades There is nothing to upgrade or downgrade too. I mean technically there are other transmutation weapons out there of more value such as the Kacheek Flour but that is hardly in the same vein. If you are looking for a troll weapon then you might as well just go for a cheap poison attack like a {{Poison Dagger}} or something- otherwise ... eh. Other Points Final Thoughts So if you only need to "Sprinkle a few flakes" for the effect why would it be single use? Maybe the "may" is so small that people just dump the whole package to be sure it works? Rated on February 27, 2015 |
Rating: | Could this weapon be mean? You bet. Is it going to help you win a battle? Of course not. Considering that Slorg Flakes does absolutely nothing to help the user in battle, this weapon is a definite 1/10. Slorg Flakes exists for cruel users and users looking for revenge, but is it really worth using? Ever since the Petpet Lab Ray came into being, Slorg Flakes has behaved in a similar manner to the Petpet Lab Ray. If a petpet is a victim of Slorg Flakes, the damage can be undone by removing the petpet and reattaching it. This trick reduces Slorg Flakes to only providing two possible effects: eliminating a petpet's age or a petpetpet. A petpet will have its age reset if it is removed, and if a petpet with a petpetpet is removed, the petpetpet will disappear if the petpet is removed. Neither of these effects is anywhere near as devious as turning a Bartamaus or Candychan into a Slorg. Sadfully or thankfully, however you wish to look at Slorg Flakes, this weapon really isn't all that useful even for cruel intentions. Rated on August 23, 2013 |
