Rating: | While previously expensive, this was given out as a weekly Quest Log prize in 2024 and has dropped to buyable prices at the time of this rating. This rating is to bring up the average score for this weapon in light of the price drop. It's now the cheapest 75% single-icon reflector by far, so I highly recommend picking one up if you can. While it might not be useful for most day to day battling, it can be situationally very helpful against particularly tough opponents or plot bosses that dish out bulk light icons if you've got the HP to tank the hit. A cheaper alternative is Parasol of Unfortunate Demise which blocks 100% of light icons, but doesn't reflect them. A much more expensive upgrade is Superior Reflection Shield which reflects 100% of light and 25% of water icons. Other upgrades include Wand of the Dark Faerie and Illusens Staff (read the notes on that one), which are more expensive and offer additional effects in addition to their 75% light reflection. Rating: | Price/Power (0/5) The price is far in excess of what you should be trying to get. Countermeasures (2/5) The reflection is nice, but not nearly as good as the other options out there. Light is much less likely to be used due to how easy it is to block.. Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades Just get a Parasol of Unfortunate Demise instead.
