Rating: | Power (1/4): 80% chance for such a powerful effect is not ideal but the best we've got for the time being. Price (0/4): It's a little expensive and will probably be a bad investment in the long run once Heavy Robe of Thievery is fixed... but who knows when that'll happen! Other (0/2): Now that stealing has been partially fixed, I wrote this blurb so people can quickly glance at the (poor) rating and make their decision when thinking about what to buy. Alternatives: At the time of writing this is the best stealer that is fixed. Note that it is only fixed in 2P. Rating: | Overview: This review is a series of reviews meant to tank the average rating of stealing-based weapons. While stealing has been slightly fixed, it is only on a select few weapons, and only on 2 Player. Since I do not take 2 Player into consideration, I will still give these weapons a harsh rating. Accessibility: 0/4 As it stands now, none of these weapons are worth buying. There's a chance that stealing will be completely fixed, but until then, these weapons are practically dead weight in 1 player. Viability: 0/5 With the mechanic broken, this weapon now does nothing. Equipping this weapon merely gives you a wasted slot. Alternatives: Do not consider any stealing-based weapons. They are all broken, and should all be avoided. Bonus points: None provided. Final notes: With recent attention given to stealing weapons, I now have a bit of faith that these may see their time in the light again. As it stands, however, you should not consider anything stealing related until it does get fixed. Rated on August 3, 2025 |

Rating: | Price/Power (2/5) This is the "best" sticky hand, in that its stealing percentage is huge. However, for only 20% on top of the Purple Sticky Hand the question of whether it is worth it comes up. Countermeasures (2/5) At this level you may find yourself and your opponent throwing this hand between one and other until one of you gets the perfect mix of each others set. The percentage is large enough that it may be easily passed around, limiting its usefulness. The random nature of stealing means that you can easily cripple and opponents' set, however they can do the same to you. In 1P this stealer would be very useful however. Alternatives, Upgrades or Downgrades Downgrading to the Purple Sticky Hand may make more sense given the price. However if you can afford this and want to use it, perhaps train up your pet and try to get a Heavy Robe of Thievery instead. Other Points The price is huge, but it has its place. Final Thoughts The last sticky hand is big on everything. Big on chance, big on colour and HUGE on price! Rated on November 20, 2012 |
