Rating: | Price/Power (0/5) 9 icons of defense, which isn't much; but the price isn't too bad. Problem is, the alternative is better. Countermeasures (2/5) This combo actually isn't horrible, it hits the Throwing Cutlass, Frozen Water Daggers and some other cheap attacking items. Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades Defense icons items outside of percentage blockers are rarely my forte; but this item is just a weaker version of the Leaf Shield Other Points Final Thoughts I just don't see the point. Rating: | Price/power (1/5): The Leaf Shield is only slightly more expensive. Add a little NP and you have a useful shield. Tactical (2/5): Blocks some common icons, for the most part. Water isn't that common these days, and it doesn't counter any common weapons either. Bonus (0/1): We have quite a few Leaf Shield knockoffs these days. Closing remarks: Aside from the Leaf Shield, the Shiny Shoal Shell Shield is also a direct upgrade. The Studded Leather Cuirass is another great option. Rated on October 31, 2013 |
