Now that its price has settled at basically free, it's not a terrible beginner option for bulk dark defense if Hanso Charisma Charm becomes more expensive over time. Otherwise, you'll want to upgrade to the Charm as soon as possible instead of this for a much stronger attack and complete defense against dark icons.

Price/Power (1/5)
This item is currently expensive purely because as of time of writing it has only been out for a day. However, I can already speak to its value. Unfortunately while 10 icons of a single icon block is nothing to be scoffed at, the other cheaper percentage alternatives win out in every way.

Countermeasures (0/5)
This isn't bad especially for the plot; however, knowing that you could get a hanso charisma charm for a fraction of the cost and do a ton more of both attack and defense; this weapon counters itself.

Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades
If you have no darkness blockers, pick up a Hanso Charisma Charm instead; if you have money or were lucky enough during the weekly prize release to get a The Mystical Tablet- use that instead. Point is there are multiple options at different price points you should go for first.

Other Points (1 Bonus)
I will give one bonus point, not because it is good in any way, but because I really do like the artwork of this item. I wish it was wearable too.

Final Thoughts
With the Leaded Elemental Vial being in the hospital I think a lot of us were hoping for something better from the battles; however, this is only the start and who knows what kind of crazy new staple they may release in the coming weeks and or months.
