Price/Power (0/5)
Due to the usefulness of this in League 97 battles this item has been pushed far beyond any use for regular battlers. 75hp is nice, but not really enough to warrant such a price tag. At this point chances are you are almost getting into % healer territory now.

Countermeasures (2/5)
75hp can be a huge boost in combat for a certain level of pets, however without overheal the price tag just isn't justified.

Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades
If you are willing to pay, the Crisp Blue Tunic may be your first port of call. Otherwise the Rejuvenating Jar of Brains is most likely your best bet in bulk healing right now, that or the Greater Healing Scroll. If you have a bit of money you may consider getting a Bag of Healing Dust instead. Be sure to check if you have any species healers such as the Kacheek Life Potion which your pet can use instead too.

Other Points (No Bonus)

Final Thoughts
While good in the niche, for those outside of it there is little reason to use this.

Pop For Your 'Points (2/3): Unfortunately, the League 97 series of 2P tournaments has put an upward pressure on the price of Short Sleeved Yellow Tunic. I would estimate SSYT's current price is somewhere between 4 - 7 million. Though this is much higher than in times past, there is no better healer for this price range.

In Battle (5/5): Outside of L97 and other similar brands of low-level 2P fighting, Short Sleeved Yellow Tunic has a small window of viability for those engaged in 1P. Essentially SSYT is the bridge between Rejuvenating Jar of Brains and Crisp Blue Tunic.

Though you could argue the difference between the Rejuvenating Jar of Brains and Short Sleeved Yellow tunic is negligible, that is not quite so. In 2P that utilizes these types of healers out of necessity, using SSYT over RJoB can give a major advantage. Not only do you heal 15 HP more, 6 icons of defense is not shabby at all. At the very least, you can expect to block part of their faerie ability for the round. As far as one player goes, all of these advantages transfer over flawlessly.

The only question when looking at Short Sleeved Yellow Tunic and Rejuvenating Jar of Brains is if you want to settle on SSYT or move on to Crisp Blue Tunic.

There are a couple things to consider when deciding upon SSYT or CBT. The first is price; with SSYT inflating close to CBT in price (CBT should still be a million or two more), do you or do you not make the jump to Crisp Blue Tunic? This is largely a 1P question, as the answer is fairly clear for the 2P league you decide upon. Whether or not to spend the money for the upgrade to Crisp Blue Tunic for 1P...

Thanks to L97 SSYT simply doesn't carry a sane price tag anymore. As of writing this review this costs many millions more than the not much weaker {{Jar of Rejuvenating Brains}} and gets close to it's upgrades {{Crips Blue Tunic}} and Bag of Healing Dust making this a perfect waste of money if you don't get it specially for L97 battling. And even if you do, you might want to re-check the price of Jade Elixir and Lucky Robots Foot and reconsider whether you wouldn't be better buying those for the few fights (compared to how much higher the inflated price of SSYT is than it should be) you'll actually do.

Counters: 3/3
Well, healing can't be countered.

Uniqueness: 1/1
The only regular healer with extra requirements and some defense - Crisp Blue Tunic being similar, but a drainer instead.

Bonus: 0/1
I'd really like to give SSYT a bonus or more points in general, but I just can't find a sane reason to justify them given it completely lost it's niche unless you're a L97 battler.

Overview: Honestly this thing is amazing for the new L97 format. For regular battling, unless you can get your hands on a species healer, it is the best healer you can get until you make a big jump up in price to Bag of Healing Dust.

The Good: SSYT is a healing and a lightweight one-use shield tossed into one, which is amazing. This thing takes a 6-icon chunk out of Dr. Sloths Personal Bath Buddy and reduces Cloudy Wand of Storms to a pathetic 1.2 icons. Again, this is all coming from a Healing Item.

The Bad: Cost. Though the cost is justified at the lower levels, especially in L97 battles, spending a few million np for the extra 15hp over Rejuvenating Jar of Brains is a little steep for any standard-league or 1-player battlers.

The Ugly Truth: If you plan on participating in a L97 event, this is the healer to have. If not, then you'll really need to considering if the 3 or so million over Rejuvenating Jar of Brains should be spent on healing when you could buy the brains, a nice Stone Foam Finger, and still have money left over.

Short Sleeved Yellow Tunic (SSYT) is an intermediate-level healer offering a solid 75HP heal. It does not offer any overheal like a Rainbow Scorchstone, but on the plus side the lack of overheal keeps this healer at a fairly affordable price tag in the ballpark of 3M-4M. (At time of review)

Short Sleeved Yellow Tunic is not quite a run-of-the-mill healer; it possesses two unique traits. One of these traits is a requirement of 500 intelligence for the heal to work; the intelligence requirement should not be a big problem for battlers with enough NP for this healer. The second trait, which offers SSYT more notoriety, is the added defense.

The amount of defense is small, but it is a nice bonus. Dr. Sloths Personal Bath Buddy instantly comes to mind when looking at the defensive scheme, but outside of the Sloth Duck, Short Sleeved Yellow Tunic's defense is still likely to pick off a few icons when used. The obvious selling point of this weapon is the healing, so the defense should simply be seen as a bonus.

The price of this healer is about what is expected, serving as an upgrade to Rejuvenating Jar of Brains. The super-wealthy have Rainbow Scorchstone and Glittery Scorchstone, but for the average user SSYT is the last numerical healer. Most battlers will move on to percentage healers after or sometime before reaching Short Sleeved Yellow Tunic. Generally speaking, Short Sleeved Yellow Tunic is best suited for pets with 75HP-150HP that cannot afford Leaded Elemental Vial or Rainbow Scorchstone. Pets that cannot afford SSYT should go from Rejuvenating Jar of Brains to a cheap 50% species healer like Gelert Healing Remedy...
