Ratings - Thunder Sticks
Rating:
10
Recommended for: Elite Battlers
Price at Time of Rating: 100-200m; subject to big fluctuations at this time

This weapon was available in the prize shop for Altador Cup XVII, and boy did it make some noise when it was released! While it has a hefty price tag, it is far cheaper than its predecessor Moehog Skull and offers similar, if not better, total utility.

Strengths:
This is by far the strongest 100% freezer currently, with a whopping 16 icons of attack over 4 different icon types, plus a bonus 100% defense against the common physical icon. Given that most other 100% freezers will only do a handful of additional attack or defense icons, Thunder Sticks is a huge step up in power (and price!).

Weaknesses:
Not really any!

Alternatives:
This weapon is a direct alternative to the much rarer Moehog Skull, which does one fewer icon of attack and blocks 10 icons, with a different overall icon spread. Unless you really have a lot of money to burn, Thunder Sticks will likely suit your needs better.

A cheaper downgrade would be Maractite Dimensional Trap, which is a 20-icon bomb with a 50% chance of freezing. There’s also the weaker 100% freezers such as Sleep Ray, Magical Marbles of Mystery, Freezing Potion, Heavy Blue Tunic, and H4000 Helmet.

Notes:
The price for this weapon may fluctuate a lot, and it’s hard to gauge how many of them exist due to AC botting and their initial low prices that led to them being hoarded up. At the time of this review, there were over 180 unique Trading Post sellers in the past 90 d...

Price/Power (5/5)
I wanted to wait to review this; hoping it'd get nerfed- thinking to myself that it was far far too good for its own good. This item is laughably easy to get if you play the cup, but offers a much better power than the 450+ million Moehog Skull. That should tell you how good it is.

Countermeasures (5/5)
It is hard to counter- you can't stop freezing, the damage is huge and it also defends all physical to boost.

Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades
The Moehog Skull - but honestly there is no reason to ever use that again with these around.

Other Points (No Bonus)
I still think the price of these settled too high; there are likely an endless number out there given the Altador Cup. At least it settled at a point that is still much better than the skull, but technically with the supply it should be much lower.

Make no mistake, this is a perfect item. However, so many people (including many cheaters who didn't lift a finger in YYB) will likely be sitting on these things that based on the actual real demand/vs massive supply.
