Overview:
Motes are infamous in the Battledome community for consistently being the worst weapon category on the site. all of them breaking far too frequently and hardly doing much to impact the battle anyway. As such, the release of the Mirror Mote, a Mote that has a somewhat viable use, was a shock to the core of many people. But, as you can see by my rating, this didn't last very long.

Accessibility: 0/4
What being a fragile event weapon does to a sap. This weapon has hiked up heavily in price once these weapons that players of the Trouble in Brightvale event only got one of started breaking. Unless this gets added to the Daily Quest prize pool, gets handed out in another event, or drops in rarity and starts getting sold in the Motery, the already exhorbitant price is only gonna go up.

Viability: 1/5
Reflecting 30% of all icons sounds like a nice deal... but then you consider how Downsize! blocks 50% of all icons for cheaper, and doesn't vanish. Even if I were a fan of reflectors, I'd much rather use icon-specific reflectors for specific opponents.

Alternatives:
Just get Downsize!. It may be Once per Battle, but this has an annoyingly high chance to be single use as well. If you really want a reflector, you can look for the similarly priced Flame Reflectozap, Mega U-Bend, and Ultra Dual Shovel. For something that reflects multiple icons, there's the Kings Lens, which is more expensive, but will save you a lot more money in the long run.

Bonus points:
Having a niche as the only weapon that reflects Physical is an okay-ish niche, but since I aim to tank...

Price/Power (4/5)
A 30% return/block even if for a short period of time would be incredibly useful against 1P bosses and strong normal opponents. It may be a little niche, but it is a really unique and interesting way to do a mote. Normally when I see mote I see trash- but here we could have some small glimmer of treasure for limited situations.

Countermeasures (5/5)
Blocks all except for true damage icons. The only thing which can stop its rein of terror is it breaking- but so long as you can get a few turns out first it should be good.

Alternatives, Upgrades or Downgrades
This reminds me of why you may take a "Downsize" with you. Assuming you aren't trying to rely on a single turn of burst damage this could be a good alternative.

Other Points (1 Deduction)
It is a mote and I know that shouldn't hold such contempt for them- but I wish this wasn't a mote.

Final Thoughts
Surprisingly niche and interesting mote.

Very unusual in that historically weapons could not block reflect yet somehow this one does. Continuing the trend of the new battledome coders not doing anything in line with previous battledome coders and creating a bit of a mess.

There is a concrete use for this, and a limited one, and that use is specifically for boss fights or extremely difficult fights. After you have exhausted lensflare and the 1 use equivalents of thyoras tear, this has a use as it can be combined with other items and skills to both deal damage and block a good chunk against a much stronger opponent hopefully long enough to keep you alive.

This is fragile, so has no real utility in day to day grinding or in most friendly 2 player fights. We have no idea what the endgame cost of this is right now, so it's being rated purely on merit, but it's a unique weapon in any case.
