Ratings - Staff of Devilish Laughter
Rating: | Price/Power (2/5) 8 Icons for free isn't terrible. Countermeasures (2/5) 8 Icons of mono-icon- hard to block something like this without some effort. Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades It may not have the same level of mono-icon, but you could grab the Whirling Mopper or similar instead. Other Points (2 deduction) Seriously, look a the Blazing Embers or Sword of Malum. It is crazy the options this plot had for free battledome items. Final Thoughts I do like the idea of giving out trophy style weapons like this for people to use during the plot- however, I do think they maybe should receive a downgrade after the plot. Participation shouldn't be all that is required to build up a set. Rated on February 29, 2020 |
Rating: | This weapon will have two ratings, but it'll be different from the usual format I have. The ratings are depending of if you have the weapon or not, since this is a no-trade weapon that was gotten from a past plot. The final rating will be an average of those two. If you have it: Price (1/3): It didn't cost a single neopoint to get, but even then there might be better options, because... Power (1/5): ...It only does 8 air icons. The current usual amount of icons is between 11 and 14, so 8 icons is way below the average. It is low, but it's not THAT horrible, and the fact that is mono air, a hard to block type, gives it a few points. If we go past the mono air then Chakram of the Air Faerie and Icy Battle Duck are cheap 10 iconers that do 5 air, Winged Boomerang does 11 total (with 6 of them being fire), Bow of Destiny, Wand of Reality and Altador Cup Throwing Star all do 13 icons with 5 being air. Bowling Ball of Lost Cities is your best option, doing 15 icons, with either 5 or 10 of them being air. After that mass air icons get pretty expensive, with Sword of Ari doing between 17 and 24 icons with 15 being air, Super Attack Pea does and impressive 32 constant icons, with 12 being air, and Ghostkersword does 16 to 31 icons, with 8 to 23 being air. Uniqueness(1/2): Haunted Skull Fan and Greater Air Potion are two mono icon air dual duties that are rather cheap. there's not many other options, and none for pure attacking mono air icons, so it is a bit unique in that regard. Overall this weapon is the best at what it does, but what it does would only st... ▼ Read More ▼ |
Rating: | So it's basically something like 8 icons for free. no resale value and if you are a new battler this be close to useless even for you. however in the plot its a multi use 13 icon item for free with a mono attack type which may have some value to casual battlers. i'd equip it if you don't have a decent set already.
