Price/Power (0/5)
25% light reflection? No thanks..

Countermeasures (0/5)
Few people use light commonly these days (or ever), so this item is very much of limited use.

Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades
Just get a Parasol of Unfortunate Demise instead. If you really want the reflection, go for a Expert Lens or save up for a Superior Reflection Shield instead..

Final Thoughts
The serfs should revolt and get upgraded to the Expert version of this lens, same cost but much better.

Overview: Though it's a reflector somehow related to the Kings Lens, comparing the two would be like comparing Chia Clown to Chiazilla.

The Good: Most Neopians will get this weapon for free by visiting Coltzans Shrine. If not, it's often ridiculously cheap on the Shop Wizard.

The Bad: 25% reflection will get you nowhere. If you think about it, that means you're still receiving 75% of the attack while only pushing back a quarter of it. In every case, the better option would be to either block the light or attempt to do more than 25% of the icons back to the opponent. The best case scenario is you're up against a Sword of White Lies. If the Sword hits for its maximum of 23 light icons, this means the Serf Lens would reflect back 5.75 icons and protect you from the same amount. Instead, an 11-icon weapon like Scroll of Knowledge would be .5 icons short, but wouldn't rely on the opponent having a top-notch light-dealing weapon. Of course, on average, even a 10-icon weapon or the super-cheap Scroll of Ultranova would fair better than the Serf Lens in every scenario available.

The Ugly Truth: I know there's a temptation to put a free weapon to use, but there's really no good reason to include the Serf Lens in your set. Period.
