Rating: | This weapon will only be rated for Regular 1P/2P use, since it doesn't have any niche or league use. Since most reflectors do basically the same, the reviews will be mostly identical. Price (2/3): It's dirt cheap, but only worth it if you're going to use it against a plot boss. Power (1/5): at best you'll reflect half of your opponent's attack and come to a stalemate. At worst... you'll waste a weapon slot and receive full damage. Too much of a gamble except for a few situations. Uniqueness (0/2): Like I said, percentage reflectors are not unique at all. Overall It's what you'd expect. It's only good for certain situations where you know your enemy WILL use the icon type in mass. Because of that its final rating is 3/10. Rated on February 28, 2019 |

Rating: | At a Glance (1/3): You and your opponent are taking half the damage your opponent throws at you AT BEST, if and ONLY if your opponent ONLY uses fire. Pretty risky to use for such mediocre reward. And then there's the off chance that it might break.. In-Depth (2/4): Fire is a dangerous element. It is safe to stack high amounts of it in many instances (like dual wielding Sword of Reif) since the best fire defense you would expect to see is Faerie Tabard. As a result, unless you have a tank pet boasting high defenses, this is a rather decent choice for fire defense, especially in the Hidden Tower level of battling, where you can expect to see SoReif. If you can predict when your opponent will use SoReif (or two weapons that have a lot of fire in it), then that's when you use TFR and another weapon that either attacks or blocks the remaining damage you take, thereby putting you in the lead for that round. It's that simple. Not easy to actually execute, but it's better than taking huge amounts of fire to the face without an answer for it. Price (2/2): Another reason that I actually recommend this on some level is it's price. It's like, what? 2k neopoints? A 5 minute trip to the games room can get me enough for it in the off chance it does break, which really isn't that often. Your next upgrades could be: Clawed Shield, which is usually ~5m I think; Flame Reflectozap, which is ~7m+; and Reflectozap 2000, which is ~10m+. They each reflect ~70%, 75%, and ~90% fire damage respectively. As you can see, unless you can spare enough to own a stronger fire reflector, I would say you ar... ▼ Read More ▼ |

Rating: | Price/Power (1/5) You know, if you could dual wield these they may be more worth it. But it can't, and isn't. In some ways 50% fire blocking could be alright when you consider how hard fire is to block, but it just... is underwhelming. Countermeasures (0/5) Another weak reflector. Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades A Clawed Shield is the best fire reflector currently out and is much more worth your time if you want to upgrade.
