This weapon will only be rated for Regular 1P/2P use, since it doesn't have any niche or league use. Also, since all Altador Cup Shields are basically the same they will all share the same review.

Price (0/3): This was an altador cup prize, and as soon they have a finite number. That said, the number isn't low enough to make this terribly expensive, but considering its utility it's worth way more than it should be.
Power (0/5): 8 icons is already pathetic for starters. Nowadays you can get 13-14 icon weapons easily, so in most cases it'd be better to attack than to defend with this shield. The fact that it defends multiple icons would be good in most cases, but considering that this splits the already low amount of total defensive icons it just ends up making the shield worse overall. If this shield defended for 12 icons split into 3 groups of 4 icons it'd be much, much better.
Uniqueness (0/2): Mediocre shields are extremely common, to the point that this won't be useful for anyone. The best shield options are hidden tower ones like Hubrid Nox Memorial Shield and Faerie Tabard. For specific blocking then Shield of Faerieland, Pirate Captains Hat, Hanso Charisma Charm and Parasol of Unfortunate Demise are the best. Of course. There's great shields that are relatively cheap and protect for a decent amount, but this is an example, showing that you either want a big amount of icons per icon type, or you want specific full blockers, or, of course, shields with additional effects, but on most cases you want those for the effects instead of the protection.

Overall It's... kinda disappointing. The fact that they can be wor...

Price/power (0/5): The Leaf Shield and Shiny Shoal Shell Shield are both easily-attainable upgrades.

Tactical (0/5): The defense here isn't really enough for anything. Even the most basic weapons these days deal at least 9 icons, and a shield that defends a mere 7 isn't really Battledome-worthy.

Bonus (1/1): It's one of the first wearable Battledome items, and it looks great!

Closing remarks: Go ahead and grab one of the aforementioned shields. In the meantime, this is definitely something I'd recommend as a wearable.

Price/Power (0/5)
Let me start this review by saying that all of these shields are horrible. 7 icons is not enough to stop basically any battler now days given the huge array of variety in icon types. These reviews will be mostly copy-pasted with the alternatives section tailored for each individual shield.

Countermeasures (0/5)
Doesn't block enough icons to get past the variety of weapons used today.

Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades
Leaf Shield

Other Points (2 Bonus)
Bonus for being an Altador Cup prize, but I must say I do miss the days when Altador Cup weapons were good.

Final Thoughts
Citizens of Brightvale should stick to the books and stay far away from the battledome, if this item is anything to go by
