Rating: Rating History ▼ | At a Glance (1/3): Smack your opponent around with 5 icons of solid earth while defending against the same amount! In-Depth (1/4): This dual duty is nifty for picking off weaker constants and other dual duties that utilize a good chunk of earth such as Rancid Battle Dung and Hanso Charisma Charm. However, after that level of play, it falls off as 10 icons of overall power is not strong at all. In fact, if it doesn't block a total of 5+ earth icons, then it would be inferior to 10 iconers like Sun and Moon Chakram, for example. Price (2/2): One of these can be obtained for less than 6k. Compared to Pyon Stinger Mace, which runs at ~80k at this time of writing (though, I don't remember the mace being that expensive!) with an additional icon, this isn't so bad. A direct upgrade of this would be Mask of Coltzan, which costs ~3.5m or so last time I checked. Bonus (0/1): It's only saving grace is in the L97 weapon format, where the overabundance of dung would give it the best possibility of playtime. However, it would only tie with the dung family at best 1-on-1. It would take some serious jedi skills to pair this with another weapon to get the maximum effect each turn on a budget. Rating: | Overview: Aww. Is that a cute Negg coming towards my face? NO IT IS NOT! RUN AWAY! The Good:So the thing I like about this weapon is that it is relatively competitive at the level it's designed for (beginner battlers). Some of the weapons it fairs well against are Essence of Esophagor, Altadorian Swordbreaker, or even Hanso Charisma Charm. The Bad: The mace is very easy to get around with its weak attack. Even the newest of battlers is likely to pull out a Scroll of Ultranova, or any number of cheap weapons which completely skirt the spiked Negg's defense, or at minimum still get over 5 icons through it (like Ridiculously Heavy Battle Hammer). Currently the Parasol of Unfortunate Demise and Leaf Shield are very popular beginner's shields, and they both cover earth, which means the defense here will be redundant in most players' lineups. The Ugly Truth: To fill an eighth slot, the Spiked Negg Mace might not be terrible, but it can't be used as a primary weapon if you expect to win. Rated on April 30, 2014. Updated August 31, 2014 |

Rating: | Price/Power (1/5) 10 icons is almost strong enough to be Scarab Ring level, however it is not. So. Yeah. Personally I would just miss this item Countermeasures (1/5) 5 icons in bulk is enough to take down most low level earth, but with the huge variety of icon types out there using earth is very unlikely. Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades Altadorian Swordbreaker is the best earth based dual duty out there.
