It looks a lot more impressive then it is. While the attack isn't horrible, it isn't single use and has recently dropped down in price enough for me to boost rating.

Countermeasures (1/5)
This can be easily partly blocked by a good deal of common shields but not fully blocked. Most of the shields which can partly block this such as Solar Flare Shield or Leaf Shield are missing some icons needed to fully block.

Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades
Just get a cheap Scroll of the Fool, Scroll of the Wise or similar instead. If this one day gets cheaper it may be worth looking at... But that will take awhile.

Price/power (0/5): As of the time of writing, this is just barely buyable. Until the price drops, this will not be worthwhile at all. After all, the Scroll of Knowledge does more damage for less, and the Scroll of Ultranova is extremely cheap.

Tactical (1/5): All icon types here except water are very common at this level. They're completely nullified by the Shiny Shoal Shell Shield, which is very common. Others such as the Studded Leather Cuirass, Leaf Shield, and the somewhat less common Wanderers Cloak will also decimate the attack here. Even the Solar Flare Shield, which is just starting to become buyable, will block everything except the earth icons.

Bonus (1/1): At least it's not single use.

Closing remarks: Get a Scroll of Ultranova, Scroll of the Wise, Scroll of the Fool, Scroll of the Scholar, or even a Scroll of Knowledge. All of these are more worthwhile than this leaf.
