Countermeasures (0/5) Fire is great to block, no question, this is a great combination .... but this weak? Eh. Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades Nurias Battle Shield may be your best alternative due to it's stupidly low price. However, I would still advise away from that. Rating: | Price/power (0/5): R97 means it'll probably never become cheap enough. Sure, it may be affordable sometime in the future, but it'll never be dirt cheap like a bad shield should be. Tactical (1/5): Fire and water are rarely blocked by the same shield, and that's its only strength. 3 fire icons is passable, but the 2 water and 2 physical are just insufficient, even for low level shields. Bonus (0/1): This shield is far from "great". Closing remarks: Get a real shield. Current recommendations include the Leaf Shield, Shiny Shoal Shell Shield, Patched Magic Hat, and Studded Leather Cuirass. Sophies Magic Hat is great too if you have the NP. The Solar Flare Shield is a direct upgrade to this, but the price needs to drop first. Rated on July 4, 2013 |
