Rating: | Price/Power (0/5) Even now that it is cheaper, this weapon is still trash. 6 icons of defense just isn't enough. Countermeasures (0/5) Physical IS good to block, but this doesn't offer enough of everything ELSE to warrant using it. Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades The Kiko Skull Pirate Hat is 100% better then this. Rating: | Price/power (0/5): Very expensive as of the time of writing. When the price settles, it's hardly likely that it'll be dirt cheap. Tactical (0/5): Beginner weapons don't tend to do a whole lot of dark damage. This is a beginner's shield, one that you'll quickly outgrow, and you're probably better off buying dual duties or going without defense in the meantime (good offense is cheap thanks to the likes of the Ridiculously Heavy Battle Hammer). Bonus (1/1): Only because I can't give this a 0. Closing remarks: Get a Golden Compass when you can. The Scarab Ring is another great option--better for beginners, in fact. When you can finally get a good shield, take a look at the Leaf Shield, Shiny Shoal Shell Shield, and the Studded Leather Cuirass, all of which are similarly-priced. Rated on June 30, 2013 |
