Rating: | Price/Power (2/5) 9 icons isn't bad- but it also isn't that great. The world is now full of 14 icon beasts and this shield is just on the sidelines looking to take out small chips of a couple of specific types. Countermeasures (2/5) It will chunk out parts of the damage on say- the Magic Gridlock Gun- but right now defense is sort of lagging behind offense. There are so many items which do a LOT of varied icons and weapons like this just can't keep up. Alternatives, Upgrades or Downgrades See some items have a larger number of icons like the Leaf Shield and Kiko Skull Pirate Hat- or do a larger range of icons like the Wanderers Cloak. Perhaps look into them? Other Points Final Thoughts There is nothing /wrong/ with this weapon. But I just struggle to see what it brings to the table. Perhaps it is time TNT starts to make a percentage blocker- like, 25% of all magical damage types? *shrug. It is too easy to plan around blockers like this now days.; Rated on March 1, 2019 |

Rating: | Price/power (0/5): Way too expensive for what it does. Tactical (2/5): Few weapons are completely blocked by this shield, and it should really cover one more type. Bonus (0/1): Really don't think a shield like this should see any battles. Closing remarks: Get a Studded Leather Cuirass or Shiny Shoal Shell Shield instead. A Virtupets X-514 Super Shield would also work, though it doesn't block as many icons in each type. Try to wait until the war ends, of course. Rated on April 30, 2013 |
