Rating: | This weapon will only be rated for Regular 1P/2P use, since it doesn't have any niche or league use. Price(0/3): Way, way more expensive than it's worth. You could easily buy way more useful battledome items with the amount of neopoints this one costs. Power(0/5): The amount of icons this shield defends against is way too low, wasting a slot in today's battledome when you could attack more instead. Uniqueness(0/2): Most shields tend to defend icons in such low amounts that it's not worth it to use them over any weapon. This isn't the exception. Overall it's just your average underpowered, useless item. Nothing worth checking out here. Because of that its final rating is 0/10. Rating: | Price/Power (1/5) 9 icons is the point at which shields start to become at least semi useful. The price however is nothing to write home about. Countermeasures (2/5) This item can knock down at least part of several popular items including the Scroll of Knowledge, Scroll of the Scholar and Rainbow Scroll. However given the huge amount of variety out there in brightvale scrolls (and weapons in general) chances are this shield still doesnt provide enough defense to match everything a player will have. Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades If you can leave behind your desire for light defense you could always go for a Silver Minitheus Helm instead.... or if you can pay more a Solar Flare Shield. Rating: | This shield can fully block a Rainbow Scroll, but that is one few good things to be said of this item. 9 icons of defense is not enough for going up against the 9+ icon offensive weaponry of today. Shields like this have to utilize all of their defensive coverage to keep up. For shields like Blurgah Shield to be truly effective, the users defense boost has to exceed the opponent's strength boost. Blurgah Shield can lessen the strikes of Throwing Cutlass and Scroll of Ultranova as well, but the bottom line is its defense could be a little more formidable. Blue Draping Cloak is a better option obtainable off the Shop Wizard, but it does carry some extra requirements to use. Rated on May 31, 2013 |
