It doesn't offer the bang-for-your-buck of the Dr. Sloths Personal Bath Buddy, but all of the anagram swords are basically the second or third highest teir of weaponry. Beyond this level the prices of weapons jumps dramatically.

Countermeasures (4/5)
Shield of Faerieland or Tornado Ring seem to be the main things you have to look out for when wielding this weapon, which really isn't that much. This is one of the better Anagram Swords.

Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades
Any of the other anagram swords. Just look around for which one is best for you. If you are playing mainly 1P it doesnt really matter which you choose, but with 2P it is best to choose a hard to block icon such as fire.

Value 3/3: Deliver mass quantities of a difficult-to-block icon. Not quite as much of a good buy as Kelpbeards Trident but still a good value.

Tactical 5/6: Mass air is difficult to block even at high tiers, and now that species resistance is gone and there is a higher amount of focus on dire defense due to the popularity of the Sword of Reif, this weapon can perform well against most high-tier sets. It is stopped by the Shield of Faerieland, and a few other shields take chunks out of it, but it's difficult to lock down completely.

Other 1/1: It's almost like a mini-Ghostkersword. At last, there is another way to get mass air without paying 70 million.

Conclusion: Due to the popularity of the Sword of Reif, this may be somewhat overlooked. It's an excellent option for a high-tier set.

A member of the Anagram Sword family, Sword of Ari is the ultimate weapon in terms of Air icons. No other weapon can deliver 15 Air icons on a consistent basis, although the much more expensive Ghostkersword and Super Attack Pea come close.

As is the case for all the Anagram Swords, Sword of Ari is very reasonably priced. Kelpbeards Trident and Sword of Skardsen are both slightly cheaper, making these two options better for budget 1-Player battling, but the cost of Sword of Ari is not much higher for 2-Player battling.

When it comes to 2-Player battling, Sword of Ari and Sword of Reif are typically considered to be the most versatile of the Anagram Sword family. Sword of Ari is valuable because it is not very susceptible to common Hidden Tower shields like Pirate Captains Hat, Faerie Tabard and Hubrid Nox Memorial Shield. Shield of Faerieland means trouble for Sword of Ari, but it is not as popular due to price and versatility. Like any Anagram Sword, Sword of Ari is strongest when cycled with other Anagram Swords and icon types.

Triple Turbo Dryer is potentially the deadliest countermeasure for Sword of Ari, which is why it is important to diversify an offense. Jhudoras Wand is another uncommon but potential threat to Sword of Ari.

Like Sword of Reif, Sword of Ari is a rather unexciting by reliable force that can punch through most defenses. No other weapon provides the Air iconage that Sword of Ari offers. In terms of raw power, Ghostkersword could be considered as an upgrade.

1P 7/10: One of the new anagram swords averaging 18 icons, this weapon is worth considering as a 2nd/3rd constant or even as alternative to Kelpbeards Trident since it is fully blocked only 1 challenger (Garoo).

2P 8/10: Air is considered by most HT level battlers to be the most difficult icon to block with shields or abilities, as it is defended very lightly by Faerie Tabard and Ghostkershield, and full blockers/reflectors such as Shield of Faerieland and Triple Turbo Dryer are expensive. However, this means that most battlers have elected to make their 2P pets into Pteris, causing a loss of 6 icons from this weapon. This sword gets through sink and works great against non-Pteris, and still can be useful to get some damage in against Pteris (since they're unlikely to have any air blocker/reflector). This sword can be a useful part of a 2P set.
