Notes If this item reflects less than 5 icons of dark (measured using the user's defence boost), it blocks an additional amount of dark damage equal to the difference.
Breaks for the battle if it blocks or reflects. (Doesn't break for the battle if it did nothing on the turn you used it.)

Overview:
These little wispy creatures are apparently responsible for defending Illusen and her glade. Sounds irresponsible to just give them away to random people, but all things considered, maybe she doesn't actually need them.

Accessibility: 0/4
To get this weapon, you need to do a whopping 41 quests for Illusen! Unless you get insanely lucky with what items she asks of you, this'll quickly drain your wallet. Buying one secondhand will likely costs you about as much.

Viability: 0/5
It took me a while to wrap my head around how this weapon works. Apparently, if you reflect less than 5 equivalent Dark icons, this adds Dark blocks to make it defend against 5 total icons? So like, if you reflect 2 Dark, you get 3 icons of Dark block? That's what I'm guessing. Even if I'm wrong, this is still really weak, and you can only block with it once anyway.

Alternatives:
I'd much rather use the Hanso Charisma Charm if Dark is giving me trouble, but if you so desperately want to reflect dark, Try the Ultimate Dark Reflectorb, a multiuse 75% Dark reflector that's actually pretty cheap.

Bonus points: 1
At least it's better than a once-per-battle blocker? It doesn't get wasted if it does nothing, I guess?

Final notes:
If these things defend the glade, I could probably invade it pretty dang easily!

Power (0/4):
An effectively-once-per-battle reflector that can only go as high as 35% with a sprinkle of earth defense is not something that would fare well as a recommendation for set building.

Price (0/4):
Completing level 41 of Illusen's quests puts this at a very hefty price for what little it does...

Other (1/2):
It gets a pity point for the admittedly wonky mechanics.

Alternatives:
If you want to block dark look into Hanso Charisma Charm or even The Mystical Tablet. They are both probably cheaper options than completing 41 quests. For blocking earth, look at Roxtons Trusty Bowie Knife.

So it reflects once- if this happened more than once and it didnt break perhaps this may be something a little more imposing. But as it stands, this weapon has one too many asterisks

Countermeasures (1/5)
Look, I get it, 35% dark is a fair chunk, but once? In a world where the Hanso Charisma Charm still exists and is well, miles better- no contest.

Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades
Just get the Hanso Charisma Charm

Final Thoughts
I am, very happy for the sheer number of new weapons from the questlines, but I do wish more were actually good.
