Ratings - Illusens Really Sharp Stick
Rating: | This weapon will only be rated for Regular 1P/2P use, since it doesn't have any niche or league use. Price(0/3): Way, way more expensive than it's worth. You could easily buy way more useful battledome items with the amount of neopoints this one costs. Power(0/5): The amount of icons this weapon does is too low for today's battledome. Even at its best it wouldn't be able to deal enough damage, making it completely worthless since your opponent would out-damage you every time. Icon types don't really matter when the damage output is this low, so even if it had the best icon types this would be useless while it barely defends against any icons, defeating the purpose of a dual duty. It'd be better to focus on either attack or defence instead of splitting total icons like this. Uniqueness(0/2): Dual duties should compromise a bit of attacking power for extra defence or the other way around. This, like many others, is just underpowered. Overall it's just your average underpowered, useless item. Nothing worth checking out here. Because of that its final rating is 0/10. I can't give a rating of 0 however, so it gets a shameful 1 instead. Rated on October 31, 2020 |
Rating: | Price/Power (0/5) You know, I must give this weapon SOME credit. With a name like "Illusens Really Sharp Stick" I don't think anyone would ever start to think that this item was anything other then trash. Countermeasures (0/5) Physical is good to block, but you really need to block a lot more of it to be viable. Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades The Altadorian Swordbreaker is much cheaper and provides a full physical block with more icon damage to boot. Other Points (1 Bonus) For being a very honest item- this item IS just a stick. Why use it? Final Thoughts Call me crazy- but after reviewing a bunch of R99s that acted like they were really great- it is refreshing to see one which is like- yeah- this is just a stick. That's all- I mean, it is a really SHARP stick... but still just a stick. Rated on January 29, 2016 |
Rating: | At a Glance (0/3): Poke 0.2-2 air and 0.3-3 physical icons of damage into your opponent with this stick! You can also defend yourself from 3 icons of physical damage with it. In-Depth (0/4): The weapon amounts to a maximum of 8 icons when it lands its absolute strongest hit AND it blocks physical damage. I'd rather get Scarab Ring or Altadorian Swordbreaker instead. Price (0/2): It can't be found in either the shop wiz, or in the trading post. You probably won't get this for cheap. And even then, it'd still won't be worth it, compared to the aforementioned weapons. Bonus (1/1): This stick is the only one out of all of Illusen's weaponry that has no trace of earth in it! Illusen must've partnered with air faeries to make it. Final Score: 1/10 Rated on August 31, 2014 |
Rating: | Price/power (0/5): Terribly expensive and underpowered. Tactical (0/5): Not enough icons in offense or defense to be worthwhile. If you want physical defense, get an Altadorian Swordbreaker for less than the price of this. Bonus (1/1): Only because I can't give this a 0. Closing remarks: I'd be very surprised if Illusen actually brought something like this into the Battledome. Get a Ridiculously Heavy Battle Hammer if you like the attack. Rated on September 30, 2013 |
