Ratings - Ancient Eyrie Battle Mask
Rating: | Price/Power (0/5) 6 icon attack with a weak 3 icon defense which is species restricted... no. Countermeasures (1/5) Air is one of the two good icon types to use in 2p. It is rather hard to block in any real amount. Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades But so is fire- and the Flask of Liquid Fire does a much better job then this. Other Points Final Thoughts Obviously the blue stone was stolen and replaced- it is the possible reason as to why this weapon is as bad as it is. Rated on May 26, 2015 |
Rating: | Overview: Ever felt like paying more money than you really ever should so you can tie cheap 9-icon weapon? Looks like you're the kid of person who would buy a Ancient Eyrie Battle Mask. The Good: The art is pretty neat. I think they should make this a wearable. Secondly, for a weapon released in 2002, the Ancient Eyrie Battle Mask is actually pretty good. It can tie current day low-level strongholds like Psellias Fighting Fan, Pike Pike, Rainbow Scroll and even Golden Compass. The Bad: Here's the problem, a draw is not a win. Being able to tie common weaponry isn't very helpful. To win, you have to overcome your opponents weapons. So while it was good for its time, the mask simple doesn't help a battler pull ahead. Also, for the price, you could buy a 10-icon weapon to beat the common 9-icon weapons, so it loses in that area. The Ugly Truth: Though it will help even things out with some common 9-icon weapons, the Ancient Eyrie Battle Mask isn't strong enough to do much more than break even. It's useful if your other multi-use weapon is beating the opponent, but overall, the mask is underwhelming. Rated on January 31, 2014 |
