Ratings - Cheap Air Ring
|
Rating: | At a glance (0/3): Release a gust of air magic from this cheap ol' ring, dealing 4 icons of pure air damage. Furthermore, you can use it to protect yourself from 3 icons of solid earth damage! Very cool. In-Depth (0/4): 7 TOTAL icons is extremely weak nowadays. And it's FRAGILE? No. If you're that interested in a weapon like this, grab Portable Cloud or, uhm... Moehog Skull? Seriously. TNT needs to release more weapons whose elemental alignments defend against their opposite element or something. Sheesh. Price (0/2): While under normal circumstances, you can't argue with cheap. Costing only ~10 np, you've got nothing to lose using this. Though, you won't have anything to gain either. Bonus (1/1): I like using cheap rings for weapon testing purposes. Though it is a bit annoying to have to equip 3-4 at a time, but hey - it still helps to make the process smooth if I require only one element to work with! Rating: | Price/Power (0/5) Cheap Air Rings show us one thing that is very important to remember on neopets. Just because it is cheap does NOT mean it is good... Especially if fragile, ew. Countermeasures (0/5) Using it is your enemies best hope of getting rid of the threat here. Since it has a 40% chance to totally die on you. Lovely. Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades Really. Do you need me to answer this? Anything. Just get some half way decent weapon like a Scroll of the Fool... Other Points (1 Bonus) Final Thoughts This ring is NOT good for first time fighters. It is good for long time packrats or people trying to get the rubbish dump avatar. Rated on January 24, 2014 |
