Ratings - Ultrasteel Attack Tusks
Rating: | Price/Power (0/5) A very variable physical based attack restricted to Elephantes is not my idea of a good weapon. Sure the upper end of this attack would be good- if it was a solid attack- but as it stands what exactly is the point? Countermeasures (0/5) While this item can't be reflected it offers little in the way of defense. The variable physical attack could hypothetically be taken down by a Altadorian Swordbreaker- but why would you bother? Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades Ridiculously Heavy Battle Hammer would be a better more rounded choice- but if you really want to avoid reflectors you need to spend higher and get a Stone Foam Finger instead. Other Points Final Thoughts If the steel is so "ultra" why didnt you make the whole tusks out of them? Rated on February 27, 2015 |
Rating: | Overview: When these came out I remember wanting some so bad! However, they're not exactly worth having anymore. The Good: Their maximum actually puts them on-par with common weaponry. Since it's only two icon types (albeit commonly-blocked ones) the 10-icon attack would be considered better than most of the budget weapons available. The Bad: Unfortunately, the Ultrasteel Attack Tusks have a minimum of 4. If you average out the attacks, the tusks are weaker than most cheap weapons. The Ugly Truth: The tusks could have promise if they were ever updated, but for now they'll remain a reminder of how weak icons were in the olden days of the Battledome. For similar icons types at a constant total of 9, the Stone Club is a good option. Otherwise, for those looking for cheap power, the Scroll of Ultranova is my personal budget-battling favorite.
