Ratings - Golden Draik Charm

Rating: | Overview: This "possession to be prized" thought that by being sparkly, acting as an RIC item, and even being impossible to discard would make it genuinely sought after. But since it's kind of trash, it got no special treatment, to the point that this thing is just handed out for volunteer work in TVW. Being cheap might give it some value...? Accessibility: 3/4 This "rare treasure" is dirt cheap and produced en masse. There's a good chance you have a couple lying around in your SDB. Viability: 1/5 The defense icons are pitiful, and the fact that it can do nothing is even moreso. It would be completely worthless if it weren't for the 100% heal you can sometimes get. It's rare, but at this level, you'll usually die before hitting above 51 HP lost, so it can serve as a beginner's multi-healer. And since it doesn't take up the healer slot, so you could theoretically use it alongside your regular healer. Expect it to let you down often, though. Alternatives: Greater Healing Scroll for healing. You can also get a consistent Dark blocker with Hanso Charisma Charm, and Water Whip for Fire. Bonus points:-1 It's just too inconsistent for me to confidently recommend. If it always did the 100% heal under its conditions, I'd give this a lot more, but alas, it doesn't. Final notes: I thought this'd be a Draik exclusive weapon, but it isn't. I wouldn't even be that upset if it was. They can keep it. Rated on August 22, 2025 |

Rating: | Price/Power (0/5) May block 3 fire or 2 dark or heal any amount of damage suffered under 50hp. I am sure this weapon may have had some tiny niche use when it was first released but since then the battledome has grown and so have stats. Countermeasures (0/5) Deal more then 50 damage a turn, a task very easily achieved these days. Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades Honestly? Most items which have a multiheal not only use up a healer slot but also are prohibitively expensive. Really the best actual 100% chance based multihealing weapon is the Sword of Lameness- which requires a pet with around 2000-3000 hp to be worth using... so.. yeah. Other Points Final Thoughts The weak nature and prohibitive price point make this lovely golden charm a gallery item and nothing more. Rated on May 26, 2015 |

Rating: Rating History ▼ | At a Glance (0/3): Has a 25% chance of either defending 3 fire icons, 3 dark, fully heal your pet, or nothing. Does NOT take up a healer slot. In-Depth (0/4): There's a catch to that 100% healing - you're pet needs to have incurred less than 51 hp of damage. Statistically speaking, this would mean that you would on average heal 12.5 hp per turn, which is easily done with {{Rod if Nova}}. Furthermore, its essentially useless 75% of the time (and 25% of the time, it's TOTALLY useless), so you would need to start using this a bit before actually needing to do so, which will cost a couple of turns of offense/defense, and average healing. This weapon also doesn't take up a healer slot, but, would it really be worth having? Price (0/2): I barely know of this weapon's existence. I can only imagine how the price reflects this. Needless to say, this weapon is more/less stuck in a collector's gallery. Bonus (1/1): The charm looks beautiful though. The artist who drew this did an excellent job and deserves a jinjah. Rating: | Power: 0/5 The only outcome that may have some use would be the heal - but at a 25% chance and being so rare... nope. Counters: 0/3 No need, using this you're already countering yourself. Uniqueness: 0/1 Meeeeh. Bonus: 1/1 At least it looks nice and being rare makes up for a nice collectors item. Rated on October 31, 2013. Updated October 31, 2013 |
