Rating: | Price/Power (0/5) When most weapons are 10 icons+ with a good spread it is fairly easy to see why this item is worth a skip despite the low price/rarity. Countermeasures (1/5) This item blocks multiple very common icon types and has a decent spread. Before icon inflation became a thing perhaps this shield would have been something other then an item for the junk heap. Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades Wanderers Cloak, Buckled Leather Tunic. Shiny Shoal Shell Shield. As it stands this item could be worse- but there is no reason to use it over a better attacking item. Other Points (1 Bonus) That snake? It is pretty cool. Rating: | Overview: Do you love the idea of a Leaf Shield but need something to match your Desert Lupe, the Golden Cobrall Shield is a somewhat terrible way to allow a pet and weapon to match. The Good: The price isn't half bad. Currently this is sitting at about 2/3 of the price of the Leaf Shield, and it blocks between 1/2 and 2/3 of the icons. The art is pretty nifty, and it looks like something I'd want to have equipped to my battling pets. The Bad: It's just too weak for what it does, especially with the cheapness of the Parasol of Unfortunate Demise. I think any shield should at least be able to handle a 9-iconer. The Ugly Truth: While the shield isn't completely worthless, anyone considering it would be better off waiting to save for the Leaf Shield, or going the cheap (but best) route and rocking the Parasol.
