Ratings - Brain Of Mirgle
Rating: | Please just read books or use Elixir of Intelligence on your pet instead. Rated on April 23, 2024 |
Rating: | This weapon will only be rated for Regular 1P/2P use, since it doesn't have any niche or league use. Price(0/3): Completely worthless. Any neopoint spent on this item would be a waste, so it doesn't matter if it were dirt-cheap. Power(0/5): The amount of icons this weapon does is too low for today's battledome. There's not much else that can be said about this weapon beyond how underwhelming it is. It doesn't do anything special at all while the amount of icons it deals is pathetic. This weapon is also single use. Single use items are only useful if they deal more than your multiuse weapons. The amount of icons this weapon deals is way too low for it to ever be worth buying and using. Uniqueness(0/2): Sadly, most weapons tend to be rather underpowered or bland, be it because of lower than average icon count, easy to block icon types, or just oversaturation. This isn't the exception. Overall it's just your average underpowered, useless item. Nothing worth checking out here. Because of that its final rating is 0/10. I can't give a rating of 0 however, so it gets a shameful 1 instead. Rated on September 30, 2022 |
Rating: | Price/Power (3/5) Technically this item could be used similar to Kacheek Flour to get unlimited free intelligence- the price is good too... But when you compare the price to the ease and cost of simply reading your pet a ton of books the value seems to be diminished. Add to the fact the amount of time it would take to actually do this and it isn't like we are talking unlimited Strength here... The value is limited. Countermeasures (0/5) You can't really counter a non-weapon such as this- but at the same time what is there to counter? Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades There is no real alternative way to earn large amounts of Intelligence free with little effort- however at the same time intelligence has never been hard to obtain nor has it been really very useful in battling. Other Points (3 Bonus) For its unique ability- though it should be said that as far as I know stealing is still glitched right now so this item may not be even functioning as you would want. Final Thoughts Eating a brain in a jar to get brains really seems more like zombie logic then neopets logic. Rated on January 29, 2015 |
Rating: | Price/power (5/5): From my understanding, it functions much like the Kacheek Flour in that this takes two players to work. If done correctly, a pet can be given infinite intelligence. Tactical (4/5): The main problem here is that it's extremely tedious to gain intelligence this way, since the whole point is to repeat it as many times as possible. Kacheek Flour only needs to be used occasionally or at most once a day. Bonus (1/1): One of the few weapons to have side effects that cannot be used for trolling. Closing remarks: Only use this if books aren't an option for you. Rated on February 27, 2014 |
Rating: | Pop For Your 'Points (3/3): Brain of Mirgle is actually exceptionally cheap. Even though Brain of Mirgle is single use, it won't dent your pocket to stock up on a few. In Battle (0/5): Theoretically, this could drive up your opponent's intelligence in a 2P match over a certain threshold, perhaps allowing you to get full effect out of weapons such as Flask of Liquid Fire or even Wanderers Cloak. The odds of being able to push them over the threshold with a single Brain of Mirgle is low, in my opinion. Most battlers either intentionally get their intel as low as possible, or it's very high already so they can use weapons such as Crisp Blue Tunic or Short Sleeved Yellow Tunic. There is the larger issue of manipulating the opponent's pet during battle, however. Just like you don't touch another man's cards in poker, you don't affect the opponent's stats for good without agreeing to it beforehand. Other (0/2): My parents told me my Mirgle ran away when I was at camp... :( Rated on January 5, 2014 |
