Rating: | This weapon will only be rated for Regular 1P/2P use, since it doesn't have any niche or league use. Price (0/3): The price would be nice... if this wasn't single use. Power (0/5): There's no much use for a 15 hp healer unless you're doing TPL, and in that league this healer isn't even mentioned, you know why? Because for the same price you can get Bronze Scorchstone, which does exactly the same but is once per battle instead of single use. Uniqueness (0/2): Bronze Scorchstone is the better version, not worth getting this over that. Overall It's worthless. Even outside the battledome this wouldn't do much when you can get much better healing potions for one tenth of the price. Because of that its final rating is 0/10. Rating: | Price/Power (0/5) This healing item is by no way powerful enough to use in everyday combat. It isn't alone in this either, there are many that are this horrible. With that in mind I am going to try and write a single review for all of them- Countermeasures (0/5) This level of hp is not enough to be worth using, just give it a miss. Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades In battle, the Greater Healing Scroll, out of battle the Essence of Everlasting Apple, Super Strength Healing Potion or Bubbling Healing Goo are all worth looking into. Rating: | Overview: Puce Elixir - the worst 1,000np you could spend in weaponry. The Good: 15hp is adequate healing when you're starting out, but even if this weapon was close to 1np I'd have a hard time giving it anything higher than a 1 of 10. The Bad: 15hp is only useful in early battles. It's quickly outgrown. After 15 or so battles with Puce Elixir (1,000np per battle) you could own the multi-use Cursed Elixir. If you are terrible at games and need a low-hp healer fast, the Magical Healing Potion is still a much better alternative. The Ugly Truth: If you have this equipped, then you're just looking for a reason to waste money. Get one of the options listed above and you won't regret it. Rated on December 31, 2013 |
