Rating: | This weapon will only be rated for Regular 1P/2P use, since it doesn't have any niche or league use. Price(0/3): Completely worthless. Any neopoint spent on this item would be a waste, so it doesn't matter if it were dirt-cheap. Power(0/5): The amount of icons this weapon does is too low for today's battledome while it barely defends against any icons, defeating the purpose of a dual duty. It'd be better to focus on either attack or defence instead of splitting total icons like this. Uniqueness(0/2): Dual duties should compromise a bit of attacking power for extra defence or the other way around.This, like many others, is just underpowered. Overall it's just your average underpowered, useless item. Rating: | Price/Power (0/5) Only a combined total of 6 icons? Already not worth using even before looking at price and icon distribution. Countermeasures (0/5) It is hard to block fire- but blocking only 2 is really not enough. Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades Anything? Either forget the fire defense and go for a Scroll of the Scholar or just get a Scarab Ring. Rating: | Overview: It makes sense that golden boots wouldn't be great for fighting, so TNT deserves a pat on the back for being realistic. The Good: Dual duties are nice, but I'd say the minimum level for a dual duty weapon is the Scarab Ring, so even in that arena this fails. The Bad: If all the icon amounts for this weapon were doubled, it'd be a half-way decent weapon. However, 6 total icons (4 offensive and 2 defensive) just don't but it in the current Battledome. The Boots can be easily overpowered by 1np weapons and the defense will seldom be helpful. The Ugly Truth: The boots are worth skipping, though they'd probably have some promise if they were made into a wearable. Rated on February 28, 2014 |
