Price/Power (0/5)
Another weak and worthless species restricted dual duty.

Countermeasures (0/5)
I see nothing which couldn't counter the use of this. I mean, just using this is taking up one of your weapon slots which could be used for a better item.

Alternatives Upgrades or Downgrades
As far as dual duties go- items like the Golden Compass are still coming out on top. However, personally I prefer the Altadorian Swordbreaker and wish there were more items like that out here.

Final Thoughts
This honestly looks more like lipstick then a hornguard- but hey, who am I to judge their life choices huh?

Price/power (0/5): Horrible at any price.

Tactical (0/5): Very weak attack and defense, easily overcome by any good weapon out there.

Bonus (1/1): Interestingly, this is almost like a reversed Thief Dagger, except weaker.

Closing remarks: If you like the icons, check out the Thief Dagger. The Scarab Ring is also worth a look.
